Lionel1 why so funny? I’m not sure Cheek could give GDR away at the moment and with a monthly spend of £400k and annual income of approx £100k and the company in the group of a death spiral finance agreement with one of the most ruthless sharks out there do you see GDR as sitting pretty just now?

Any possible M&A that’s BY gdr could only happen if there was a very sudden influx of a large amount of cash or sudden doubling or tripling of the mcap. Either something good is afoot and he’s very carefully telling sh or…it’s just usual CEO guff that is attempting to make things sound better than they are, and ultimately he’s just trying to stop the current rot as far as a declining sp is concerned.

No one knows of course but I must say I am now staggered and increasingly alarmed that there has been no sign at all of interest in this stock given the news due from NICE.

Strategic M&A ? Ooh could that be RF? They’re the only strategic investor on board atm so I’m guessing they’re going to up their stake to 49% or something like that and appoint one or two of their own to become Board members. Could get interesting and that’s a heck of an improvement on either going bust or being bought out completely as a distressed sale. I’d say that’s a + hint from Cheek.

Don’t actually matter if it’s RF or not. Just sounds like someone might be nibbling. Was always my thought that Gilham wanted to sell GDR as that’s the MO he’s used previously and accounts for his biggest achievements in his career as a businessman

That’s commission of $40k from btc alone and in one day. If btc explodes over the next few weeks the way some are expecting then that makes GST mcap look like a bargain.

Not quite sure why it’s not already being calculated as far higher. On first publication of results this will fly even from current levels, if it hasn’t already.

AIHL cannot be sold in the EU until one of the distributors actually gets the product registered. This has been a stumbling block to EU sales thus far. Perhaps this message implies they are finally making some progress on this front?

Product registration can take 6 - 9 months in any given territory so let's hope it's been underway for some time and said partners are about to get AIHL on the shelves in the EU. I think they will STILL need confirmation of the data that NICE is insisting on but...progress is progress, albeit it steady in the extreme.

Of course the one distributor that we would dearly like to have made some progress is Backman Coulter in the US but for that we need FDA to approve either the De Novo or 510k routes for commercialisation in the US. We would definitely have heard about either of those had there been any success so have to assume for now this is just referring to either distributors in the EU or perhaps the ME. One small step for mankind and GDR share holders.

Think once the churn is done with this will start to creep up steadily and fairly consistently for a while.

About 120m shares bought today. If those extra 3bn have got to be shifted then this ain’t going to move for a few weeks yet…

Am staggered at the lack of market reaction here. Funding completed AND a huge JORC update on increased resources. All going ahead. Sp goes down. I know the resources and metals markets are in the doldrums right now but this is ridiculous.

Quant - if they are taking 0.2% in commission fees on all of that volume then they are making about £40k per day. Even being very conservative and say £8m per year, that works out to a mcap of about 3x what we currently sit at using P/E ratio x8.

How is this not taking off? Is it the placing shares being churned before the brakes are taken off?

Was it a sell? I only ask as the sp for the 45mins before it happened was below 1.26p.

there was a big drop from 1.40 to 1.16p though at 1.35pm so might that have been caused by this huge trade? Anyone got any thoughts?

So do we now think the fact GS20 exchange is 'live' is priced in to this sp? Or do we need to wait until there is confirmation of daily volume and daily commission fees before we witness the next jump? Great news today but I'm not entirely happy with the way it's been handled by the BOD and mms over these last few days. Lots of deliberate obfuscation to keep us pis in the dark for as long as possible. Always the way. Anyway, onwards and upwards from this moment on I trust.

Wow, was expecting at least a little more of a bump in the sp on that news. I can't believe $100m in the bank was already priced in.... What am I missing?
