Going to throw it out there.... I think Guy Incognito is none other than Dr GINO Miele.
He's never posted on any other stock billboard and has always had a negative but relatively calm take on things. As if he has the inside track. He has never wavered in his lack of belief in Budd OR his confidence in the assays being excellent.
So, lets just suppose I was right. He's probably very happy that Budd has gone, and that he now has a place on the BOD. However, if GDR were doing well and is about to trun a corner then it would be in his interests to gently reinforce the negative sentiment here so that he could actually buy some shares once we're past these next results and out of a closed period for Director buys. Probably a fantasy but maybe he, Cheek and other Directors are about to invest in their own company?
System is generally full of tripe but....I have to hand it to him that when there was a chance of AIHL being fast tracked for the NICE evaluation he was the only person who predicted it. Perhaps given he's always 100% uber rampy on GDR and currently down £100k it's no wonder he's lost track of reality and indeed can't face the prospect of losing the lot. I would struggle to in similar circs. Anyway, could System be right once more in his summation that NICE have requested the delay in order to be able to give GDR a FULL recommendation for CYP2C19?? Clutching at straws but with Guy, sorry, Gino, still on here might things just possibly, just possibly be about to turn a corner?
What ever happens, I believe if this gets to 6p it's going to hold because it becomes a decent punt for pretty much all investors at any level.
Cheek's salary will be at least £300k pa if that's what his predecessor got and he's coming in with form in the area of commercialisation. Why would he take it on for less? It's a no-brainer. Even if he only works there for 6 months his reputation wouldn't really suffer as failure would be largely down to David BUDD (take a bow David) and it would be a case of 'well, look at the catastrophe he inherited..no surprise he couldn't turn it around. Perhaps no one could'. However, Cheek's bank balance would be £150k to the good. No risk really involved so if he was kicking his heels when the position came up no one could blame him for taking it.
JLC - I like the 'speed bump' analogy but, given RF's involvement, I prefer a water based one - GDR have to circumnavigate some shark infested waters...
I would really, really be over the moon if just for once nissan could be right and that this would jump to 30 or 40p in a day.
