Funny, if I was a CEO of another company in the commercial sector and saw how quickly Cheek is getting GDR back on track I'd snap it up now for peanuts rather than wait another year for the sp to be 60p+ and have to pay well above £1 to get it. An offer just now of 40 - 50p per share would probably bag it.

Personally feeling a lot of the long term frustration with Budd and lack of progress has lifted at long last.

For me the key RNS that would cause this to rocket would be confirmation of de Novo or 510k route for FDA approval and the much cheaper cost - and that it's covered - and confirmation that AIHL could be on US shelves in 3 months. If that lands then regardless of there being a cash raise to cover the cost of the application the sp will rocket.

Lloyd - if the GS20 exchange is making roughly $5k per day and we assume Angra is making similar do you think we're at about the right mcap for the time being?

And what happens if NICE decide to upgrade their recommendation to FULL? Cheek mentioned it specifically saying he wants hospitals not to have the choice to say no to the tests bing employed. He is talking to NHS people and NICE people, I imagine saying something along the lines of 'this is ridiculous to have a system whereby the fast tracked evaluation has effectively put this on the back burner for 3 years and could irreparably damage a company like GDR which is trying to develop products to improve patient care and save the NHS millions of £s.

De Novo route for FDA application announced together with funding. There is no competitor for this test anywhere so the potential US market alone is about £35 million per year!

Progress is being made by Cheek and fast. His experience and connections - and obviously his ability - are in a different league to his predecessor and he can take GDR to the places we could only dream about 3 months ago.

Gloria - be sensible. A raise at 1p would be a discount of over 80% and at a time when the future is starting to look bright.

the placing price all depends on where the sp sits a few days before a deal is agreed. If cheek can get some seriously good news out in the next 4 weeks then I think we'll see the sp back to at least 8p and I'd hope for a raise at 5p. Perhaps 4p at worst. However, I don't think the sp will linger at the placing price for long because it should become clearer to investors that GDR is finally generating some income from the UK, EU and elsewhere for AIHL AND not least because the funds raised are going to be for the FDA application which is going to be either de Novo or 510k and will cost far less than the figure of £2m previously quoted on here AND will make it to market far more quickly ie instead of 6 - 9 months it could be on the US shelves in 3 months. It's not a drug and so the pathway to it's use is far quicker anyway. Cheek has been honest about he raise but with the progress he is now making I think many are now being too afraid of getting on board here at a time when the sp is still at historical lows.

In 3 months what will the sp be at if we know for sure there are say 50 NHS hospitals using the test, the FDA application is funded and we're on one of the quick/cheap routes to market AND AIHL is no being sold in several EU territories? It will not be anywhere near 10p regardless of where the placing price is.

You'll get a wholesome response from harChris shortly no doubt, who never has anything good to say about ARB and regularly talks about lots of other stocks whilst waving a dismissive hand every now and again at ARB. Patience, it’s only temporary. Once the raise is known and sorted then this will recover quickly

AHS those figures are if volumes were all 10x higher. As it is revenue at these levels is about $2.5m a year so I guess the current mcap isn't too far off where one would expect.

What do you see as the next news/catalyst to propel the sp on another surge to 2p+?

Due to it being a delayed trade there is no way of knowing if it' a buy or a sell. Going by the level of buys and the sp then dropping off in the last couple of hours of the day I'd say it's a sell and most likely RF shedding as much as they can before they can request new allotment of shares. That's where they will make their really big bucks should the sp take off like it did at the start of this year.

Things are moving now that's for sure and my guess is RF knew what was going to be in that presentation before we saw it and have now decided to get a move on and get behind GDR rather than run it into the ground and nab the IP as the major creditors. We'll never really know what happened but what we DO know is that Budd was f..ing useless and GDR and its share holders have suffered terribly this last year due to his incompetence.

Different looking ship altogether now, different skipper and a very different looking horizon. Would love my crystal ball to be able to tell me where this will be by end of February. It certainly wont' be anywhere near 1,2 or 3p Stocksaint.

Oh come on Stocksaint, that's just silly. No way will a placing be at that level now. If Cheek is as good as his word and there are more NHS Trusts announced, and sales in the EU AND the partner for FDA quicker and cheaper route is all announced in the next few weeks the sp will be well above 10p and a placing, albeit necessary, will happen at more like 8p imho. There after it looks like GDR could be off to the races once more.

And don't forget Cheek told us there could be an announcement from NICE regarding the 'Conditional Recommendation' given for AIHL. That, imvho, can only mean one thing: they will upgrade it.

This guys means business and seems to be able to talk to the right people. Obviously Budd was either unable or unwilling to go and speak to other key people in the industry and even have conversations. Useless twat. How he has another job in this sector is beyond me.

from what Cheek says a deal has already been struck and they're just 'finalising contracts'...unless I misheard or misremembered.

So my feeling is he's got some decent news to try and get out in the next 4 to 6 weeks and will then look for the best possible deal on finance. If there is ha;f decent traction on sales and the EUA has finally made a start then I don't think it will be that difficult to find a willing ii to come on board. I can't though see any raise happening at anytning other than a farily hefty discount. Hopefully by the time a raise is done we will be at 12p and the discount will be about 30%...? Wishful thinking perhaps.

Anyway, it's been a better day but keep feet on the ground. We're not even over 7p yet.

Anyone else feel the Chairman should resign too? He's responsible for overseeing governance and operational strategies of the BOD. If he couldn't see the glaring mistakes made by Budd or things that should have been happening and weren't then is he the best person to be in that role for the company? I also feel Budd should have any shares awarded him taken away for doing such a poor job, but I guess that won't happen. GDR should be doing an awful lot better at this point in time and investors have lost a small fortune. Budd was continuously rewarded with a huge salary for failing to do his job well.

fwiw jimmy I am quietly optimistic something good could happen here. That's about it, but for me that's a ringing endorsement :)

Good grief it's been a long time since GDR celebrated anything positive. I'd forgotten what it felt like !

FDA news is the real spark though imho. It's not just that the US market is huge it's the fact a pathway will have been established in readiness for the CYP19C2 test. Now that really would put the cat among the pigeons and see this sp back in double figures in double quick time, irrespective of a raise being done early next year. In fact a raise being done on the back of this could be seen as the final step before GDR actually starts to pay for itself.

Ok great. That's the first bit of good news. Let's see something on the EU next and then the golden goose, the FDA approval.
