This tells me Cheek actually hasn't got an option for funding sorted out yet. The best option for him and all the GDR workforce is that a rich company buys GDR and takes on the future running costs. IP will be sold for peanuts and GDRD will become a cash shell.

Thing is, existing share holders are going to have to approve any deal proposed. It will be the same as happens time and again on AIM which is 'vote for this crap deal where by you will almost certainly lose everything or the other option which is you will definitely lose everything.

So, either it's a buyout at about £5m and in order for share holders to approve it they need to crash the sp so it appears to be a face saving deal and we at least get something back or RF are going to give another drawdown of £600k with the sp at 2p or less. They will then we awarded a vast number of cheap options and make hay once the tide turns and good news starts to roll in.

I'm afraid my money is on the cheap buyout and I'm just praying it's not going to be for less than current, or rather this morning's mcap of about £5m.

No way Cheek should have released that RNS before the interims. It's designed to drop the sp further so who ever it is comes in at a bargain basement price. 1p is my guess. If they can drop it to 2p it would then appear like just a 50% discount.

3 months GDR has left. That means if they don't release amazing results in the interims they have to find funding in another 6 weeks or then put out another RNS telling the market they are considering their options based on GDR can no longer be considered a going concern.

PAS - it has to have a registered address or else it must be wound up. It will have cost them about £35 to register a new address so I don't think there's really anything meaningful in it. Sadly

the fact that GDR's tests could be hugely valuable makes it more likely they'll be snatched away for peanuts, not less!

GDR's problem is it has absolutely no leverage financially. It can be manipulated and bullied easily. That's down to the fact they still after all these years can't sell a f..ing thing! £50k every six months isn't too impressive.

I'm actually starting to think Bankrupt may have been right all along and that there is a Saudi buyer lined up who will take GDR forward and have easily deep enough pockets to keep everyone in the company employed. It's just that the Chairman, Gilman, Budd and now Cheek have agreed the take over price will be as low as possible. Doubtless RF will be in on it and will be granted shares in the venture going forwards just so they don't upset the apple cart. Ordinary share holders will be shafted as usual. My money is now on a buyout price of £1m - £1.5m. We will be told by Cheek to accept it or risk going into administration and ending up with nothing. By end of April I think we will be given the 'good' news.
