Because that’s the date the findings of the impact assessments on Implementation of PoC genotyp testing in the NHSS will be published. It was due earlier in October but was then delayed into the RNS of the month.

Ultimately it may well be Scotland that drags the rest of the UK into the future as far as pharmacodynamics is concerned. It’s a key decision and will demonstrate the general direction of travel within health services over the next few years so on its own is far more important than any sales contract for £100k per annum

Dashboom, call me a cynic but I think that’s bovine scat. Forgive me as I suspect I know how desperate you are for this not to go belly up but face facts, half the meagre total raised in the recent placing has decided not to proceed. That spells trouble to me. I think the chances of us getting anything back are slim to non existent but I’ll consider myself very fortunate even if this starts to trade again and I can get out even at a 75% loss.

Just to be clear, the De Novo process for FDA approval of MT-RNR1 test has NOT yet begun. I’ve had it confirmed in an email from the company. They are gathering data and hope to finally submit early 2025. With special device designation and potentially quicker approval times this means there is a chance it could be approved by Easter 2025 but GDR needs to know for sure that it will not run out of funds as it goes through the process which could take as little as three months.

The next news GDR might receive is either on UK sales of either test, and EU and ME test of the AIHL test OR a green light from the impact assessments being concluded at the end of this month for the NHSS. That is now just 11 market days away. That’s why there has been recent interest here. If CYP2C19 is used for not only stroke victims but also cardiac arrest victims then NHSS along could provide approx £1m annual revenue for GDR. If that green light is given then England will have to follow suit pronto. At the moment NHS England is dragging its heels but once Scotland employs the tests then that would open up the NHs to legal challenges if fictions realise the test is available but hasn’t been used and they have the CYP2C19 gene and suffer adverse reactions from the standard application of the drug Clopideogel.

Agree Basil and LITODY. This is the cause of recent interest in GDR and NOT anything to do with FDA. It’s been confirmed by the company via email that the De Novo process for FDA approval has still to be commenced. We have been told there is data collection happening now which is required before they can pull the trigger. We don’t know when exactly that will be but the last comms suggested it would be early 2025.

If this NHSS assessment results in the sign off for implementation in Scotland then we’re finally up and running. Oct 31st is a very big day for GDR

I suspect the Nomad knew nothing about the placing RNS and realised too late what was going on and resigned as soon as they could. Hopefully that £1m didn’t make it into the company’s bank account

The day after they announced the placing for £1m there was half a million quid traded and I now think much of that was dubious. Best not to think about it any more. If they DO find a willing new Nomad and come out of suspension then I will be selling out totally at whatever the loss. I’ll lose £12k if it goes tits up and I’ll be miffed but that little bit wiser in never putting money into anything even remotely connected to Guido Theuns or any of the other Woodbois Directors. They are all liars and cheats and very probably criminals too - just that they’ve got away with it thus far. All just my humble opinion of course…

Agreed bigh although I’m not sure how the sp will reach 8p without FDA news. NHS roll out is going to be painfully slow so sales news will be by drip feed. Best hope will be some news of sales in EU or ME.
