They absolutely will not get another placing through unless there is some significantly good news. The last one was brutal and utterly trashed the value for those holding shares at the time. For now - possibly up to Easter 2025 they have cash. They’ll get a much better result for a placing if they can release some positive news but I don’t see it coming this year at all

Yes I think that confirms what I believe is the current situation ie we are still waiting for GDR to get FDA to begin the process. My feeling is the ever so secret US partner helping with clinical trials has insisted the process is held back until they know how the CYP2C19 clinical trials are going. If all is going well they will make a TO offer. Obviously if FDA approve MT-RNR1 before this then the value of GDR mcap is going to explode. This may have been a condition on which they offered to help with the clinical trials… it makes no sense otherwise (to me at least) that when GDR finally have the funds to get this approval process done and dusted having waited for so long they decide to press the pause button on it…

Well just look at that explosion of interest from the US immediately after 2:30pm. Guess that puts that theory to bed then.

Yes they could go after him and I’m sure fairly easily find something to nail him for but they won’t, because it’s deemed small fry. There should be much greater scrutiny of what AIM company CEOs get away with. A few tough examples of tightening things up on comms fronts would help the market a lot. Not nearly as much as banning shorting though. That’s killing LSE junior markets and companies now.

Why do people always go on about the US investors? I have shares in MSTR and can buy on HL at any time the US market is open . Surely the same is true for US investors wanting to buy UK shares?

No staff, no lines of comm open on any platform to any company rep and no means to make any orders for products. I'd say that's game over. Guido was just lining his pocket up with that recent raise of £1m. Probably trying to spin things out until that £1m had been paid out in salaries and then wind it all up but obviously the Nomad walking so suddenly has thrown a spanner in the works for Guido's plan.

The way things appear there is no chance any new Nomad will be found. It's game over and ordinary pis again lose out. What's really galling is the total bs put out in RNSs by Guido recently, fabricating the scenario that all was well. Mms were in on it and manipulated the share price well above .5p for a couple of weeks so that an ii could dump their holding. They had stopped manufacturing and had huge strikes by the workforce and the BODs said nothing.

Honestly, I've had a handful of these and I always hope against hope that something might come out of a dire situation but these days I'm just resigned to the fact I made a rotten investment choice. There will be no new Nomad and our money will disappear on the Nov 9th.

the website still states Canaccord is the Nomad but of course with no one actually working for the company any more there is no one to update and correct it. Again, it gives a very false impression that all is well.

So Eureka, based on this from your earlier post are you of the opinion this hasn't yet been started? That was my thought too but Emerald seems 100% convinced the RNS on 15th July was confirmation the process was then underway.

I felt that somewhere along the line the news dripped through to ordinary share holders that for whatever reason GDR had held back and not pulled the trigger on submitting the process. Why that might be I have no idea. Personally I am NOT expecting the FDA news until early 2025 at the very earliest and that's only if it has already been submitted and the process underway, which I'm not at all convinced of to date.

Must be so frustrating for him to be hauled into meetings like that one when he knows full well the machines work brilliantly and will improve medical outcomes for patients and save the NHS a fortune but bureaucrats must make themselves feel important by having their say on every little minutiae and creating huge paper trails. Once FDA approval is gained you watch, I bet the US will implement these machines faster than the NHS by a country mile. They have a huge litigious culture in the US so it’s not just the possible savings made to the medical organisations in treatment costs but also legal fees spent trying to defend themselves or paying out huge sums in compensation

I think the NHS needs a committee set up to decide how long tea breaks should be in meetings to decide on future cost saving measures for £100ms . And another committee to decide who should sit on that committee, and so on. Progress is painfully slow and infuriating because the tests cause no risk whatsoever to patients.

And another committee to decide what time of day the meetings should happen, and which tea and biscuits they can provide. Oh but that will mean another expense so we’ll need a committee set up to decide what the budget for that should be and then, when all said and done, we need a meeting to decide who will announce the delays to any decision making and alerting the public. Oh it’s 5:30pm and time to clock off… will get back to all this tomorrow or better still after the weekend when we’re all feeling a little stressed by all the decisions we have to take and time spent in committee rooms.

Disagree and agree with you Em Cs. NHS is small fry in comparison to FDA but...this rise is relatively small fry compared to what I hope will eventually happen here. So, I think this rise is to do with the impact assessments for NHSS - no surprise the sp fell back once a two week delay was announced - and as we approach the findings of that assessment the sp is steadily rising.

If the market was anticipating +ve news from FDA this would climb far far higher than 3p, trust me. One foot in the door of the US market for either of GDR's tests would in one fell swoop give GDR enough financial security to a) not worry about any further dilution and funding raises and b) make it much more of an appealing target for a TO. It's going to happen imo. Just not nearly as soon as many hoped.

Guido should be investigated.

Only hope is that someone sees this and seeks out a RTO. They raised £1m two weeks ago but whether or not the cash made it into the company's bank account is anyone's guess. If it did then what the hell are they going to do with it other than pay themselves salaries and last minute bonuses. Bar stewards. String em up I say!
