Think someone married or easier suggesting it must be a fairly serious bid or else the Directors would have said nothing and told the market in a few weeks time it was dismissed out of hand. Somewhere near £5 is my guess for the day.

Feel for you dash, I really do. Have been in this position a few times and unfortunately I'd say from experience when things look as bad as this there's really not much hope of getting any of your money back. These WBI Directors are what give AIM a bad name and lead to some in the City suggesting this is one of the reasons why AIM is not fit for purpose. Of course it would not be so bad if the FCA ever did anything about these worst cases but because it's small fry for them and it's mainly pis losing out then they don't bother. They are there to ensure market stability and look after the major players, not get their hands dirty thumbing through the mucky waters of the AIM cesspit saving pis a few thousand quid here and there. I expect nothing from this and if they DO manage to persuade a new NOMAD to come on board then I for one will be very pleasantly surprised. I am not however holding my breath even for one second. I do think this one has gone.

Nothing much is moving on AIM given what’s expected in the budget. General market sell off of about 10 - 15% over the past three weeks and the same again expected on the announcement of BR being removed for AIM investments ( not forgetting a hike in stamp duty fees on all trades and CGT). It represents a huge gamble on the part of Rachel Reeves. She cd destroy AIM for good. Her meddling attempts to squeeze anothe £1.1bn in tax revenue out of a small and volatile market that is already at a low ebb poses an existential threat according to some finance experts include Dame Julia Hoggitt, CEO of the London Stock Exchange. Hold on to your hats for a couple of days. Cd present a great opportunity here to buy further on any sudden dips tomorrow.

There were two huge trades reported late yesterday that very much look like buys. £68k and £73k! Someone is going all out for an offer and not a small one judging by their confidence in those buys!

Likewise Popeye, I’ve got quite a bit ready - thanks to MSTR incredible run over the last three months. Just gotta hold tight for the next couple of days. MMS will absolutely play havoc on Budget day and take pis for every thing they can get. Don’t panic, just take a deep breath and wait 24 hrs.

Popeye I’m aware that there aren’t any iis invested in GDR, my concern is for the whole of AIM - which obviously does include GDR) if pension funds etc DO withdraw funding and support for small caps what will stop the collapse of AIM? Is notoriously risky and inhabited by some of the most dubious charlatans about.

And AIM is nothing if not skittish Osaka. It’s driven largely by sentiment when it comes to pis - much of the 88% invested not for IHT benefits - and so Iguess the question is do you expect everyone to sit back and do nothing if BR is removed and that 12% from the likes of pension fund managers decide to up sticks and sell out? I imagine there will be some who will not do anything even if there is an initial dip but it all depends on how fast and how deep that dip is and whether or not people think the AIM will simply bounce back. Don’t forget this is all against the backdrop of nearly a third of all AIM companies leaving the market xchange in the last 15 years. There are I’m sure many more companies who will abandon AIM if it remains expensive to be listed on it whilst the ease of attracting investment and raising funding becomes much more difficult. If it goes pear shaped what would GDR do? Go private, sell out or just stay exactly where it is? Imv the last funding was the last throw of the dice for GDR. If things don’t start going well soon what would you do as a GDR Director?

I wish it was going to be different and RR was to announce something to make everyone jump back in and attract foreign investment but let’s face it that would be against the general direction of travel for investing on AIM. Each to their own though. I’ve no idea what will happen and am happy to read articles on both sides fence.

As posted before, what ever happens with the budget, if NHSS give a green light to adopting the GDR tests then that is the beginning of a change in fortunes for share holders.

The Guardian article is from today kaeren and I think has been released because of several recent articles like the one you’ve posted that are potentially trying to mislead investors. If the govt wants to alert the market to what is on the cards and avoid volatility then the Guardian is where they’d put such an article. Two days out from the budget, the Guardian would not publish this unless it had very good reasons to believe it’s happening. Sorry.

I’m ok overall popeye, Tks. Certainly had some shockers but also had some scorchers. And most of my pf isn’t on AiM anyway. Thank god! I’m not worried about IHT - it’s the Pension funds I’m concerned about, worrying from riskier stocks but again, I don’t think serious iis and pension funds are interested in those tbh. GDR is a proper company with real products. The potential here is great but it just needs to ride the wave that’s about to be set in motion by Rachel Reeves, who as someone posted here recently is in her position on merit. (That’s blx imv btw)

My point exactly Duggs. If you have some powder dry then wait to for a quick dip here back to 1.8p and then hopefully away. I’m not selling any now as it’s just too close to call but a quick surge on good news from NHsS will be great. If that happens after a quick dip thanks to RRs blundering attempts to convince the market she’s going to be good for business then so much the better.

NHSS announce on Oct 31st they’re going for it with both tests then this leaps back up to 5p in a day.
