I note that, since November's Corporate Presentation, B of A Securties, Clarksons and Paradigm Capital are no longer referred to as providing Analyst Coverage. I also note a reduction of daily volume from 4 to 3 million. It all appears so stale. What on earth is going on at Solgold? Why does there appear to be such a gap between the resource and calibre or the shareholder register and the market's sentiment towards this company? As a separate question, what % of the shares need to be owned for a party to takeover Solgold? Does someone here have a cast iron statement they could post on this please?

There was previous news of FEED in connection with Bluewater and the AM on 18 Dec 2024 so this is further news of the same type. Nothing confirmed by Prax as yet.

Prax are working on at least 2 further acquisitions although it is unknown whether these are infrastructure or production related. With Lancaster production so strong along with the increasing price of crude due to cold weather and further Russian sanctions, we will see in due course whether Prax prefer solid production close to home to other opportunities elsewhere in future.

Recent Lancaster production figures from NSTA show it producing at a far higher rate than forecast by Hurricane's Board prior to sale to Prax. The latter has also acquired Total Energie's production west of Shetland of ca 7500 bpd equivalent subject to regulatory approval due to conclude in Q1 2025.

Liberia was controversial for VA and other Tories. Worth checking what happened back then. Could it have been that he knew it was EM again and therefore headed for the hills? Also, that was about the time when his son in law became foreign secretary. DC was referred to in the newspaper article.

Viscount Astor was replaced by Nigel Little at COPL. The former was referred to in the newspaper article covering COPL, EM, Peppercoast in Liberia back in 2013. Why is it that there is no reference to Viscount Astor on the Companies House website now? I understand that Viscount Astor is David Cameron's father-in-law. Any ideas folks?

If BBG has gone, this is likely to do with the allegations he made about the company, its brokers and 'blockers'. That is a potentially explosive list.

Well it was good yesterday but 'the market' which comprises small volume and small trades compared to the volume of shares held by the institutions here, was expecting news which didn't appear today. Due to this, a few sold off but only just over 3 million shares traded (0.1% of the shares in circulation). 'The market' in this share has a more and more short term approach (day to day? Ney, hour to hour!) whilst the larger investors (by miles) remain patient.

A fair and valid point. My point is slightly different though: Optimalisation. Give or take, CO2 is 3% of the cost of a typical NGL to use. That is one factor. There could also be others relating to which injectant is best to use. The Board of COPL had much to report on. Folk need to take a view on whether took place dilligently.

A fair point but a slightly different one in my view. Others here have queried where all the money went in Q4 '23 if NGL was not purchased (and a review of WOG data suggests that it was not). My point is to query the overall suitability of NGL full stop as an injectant. COPL were certainly 'treating' the issue of parrafin build up via remedial steps but what if the method of EOR and underlying costs were fundamentally wrong and inefficient? Once again, one would expect absolute candour from the Board of a listed company about this and any other fundamental matters.

Good points Ad. Also, I did note the theatrical references as well as the (coincidental?!) reference to the April 2022 high point in price. Last week's lottery numbers come to mind and we can all come up with those no worries.
