Today's news was a bit of a shock on the face of it but I think the RNS deserves a careful read. It's all 'non-binding'.

A major announcement from SolGold on TAM or the CIPA would be a game changer, would undermine the logic of a 28p sale, and invite rival interest. Since all commitments are non binding, such news could shift strategies and force higher bids. With 28p now the effective floor, any serious suitor will need to offer more and fast or risk being left behind. Major news obliges parties to review their current positions.The 'Nash Equilibrium' changes as/when major news is announced about TAM, CIPA, revised PFS. Parties have delared 'non-binding' positions based on what they know. Let's have some news please DV!

If facts change it is sensible to consider changing an opinion. What we have today is non-binding. Plenty can happen between now and the AGM.

Fort, I am as shocked as you are but this news is not binding on any of the parties. Let's have some time to think about the announcement properly. What if a series of updates from the field that are terrific are now released in short order. What about the CIPA? If there is a paradigm shift then everyone gets to reappraise because the facts have changed. As I say, let's have time to think about this and not reach a hasty conclusion.

Morning All. I hear you IP but don't quite agree with what you say. To me, the TAM and other field-related RNSs we've had since Sept 'count' as updates. The one I referred to yesterday that showed clear value at TAM and the timing of it to expose the hopeless JCC valuation for what it was demonstrated (at least to me) that the directors have a backbone and have no time for low ball offers. I am with you in that a refreshed PFS or other derisking news would be good to receive shortly. That said, I think we must all respect that Solgold is subject to Takeover Panel rules currently, amongst other things meaning that our Board must be flat out with things related to that. I think we should trust our Board now and show unity. DV has done the company and share price a great service since being appointed, his work rate has been tremendous and he pointedly refers to maximising value for shareholders (i.e. us) rather than using that awful word 'stakeholders' which has an Orwellian feel to it and was first coined by the WEF. So there we have it IP. Understand your point but see above.

The National Defense Stockpile is basically there to make sure the US has the strategic materials it needs in any emergency and is not forced to rely on foreign suppliers. A Congressional Research Service report in late 2023 restated that point clearly. It is about having dependable access to the metals and materials that matter for defence, industry and essential civilian use.

Sum up is that I think the US is most interested in South American Tier 1 copper, silver and gold assets located in South America at the moment. The Trump Administration's mindset appears to be a modified version of the Monroe Doctrine. Of course Venezuela is about influence, oil and stopping China and not speedboats!

During the Trump period there was also a clear move to widen the definition of what counts as a critical mineral. By 2025 the administration added copper and silver to the USGS( United States Geological Survey Critical Minerals) List critical minerals list, which shows how these more traditional metals were being pulled into the national security conversation. It fits the broader pattern that the US does not want key minerals, even basic ones like copper, to sit under too much foreign control.

As you know, very tricky to assess things on the SR due to nominee accounts, etc but WI and/or Rousseau don't appear on the current register. That is not to say that he/they don't indeed hold 40m currently somehow. Huge amount of strategy going on by all the parties I would suggest. Cheers

The 26 November RNS about the starter pit at Tandayama America was no coincidence. It came right between SolGold rejecting JCC first and second approaches and sent a clear message. The Company is making real progress and is not for sale at a discount. The potential for early cash flow backed the Board’s position, and the market responded with a strong move higher.

With the 26 December deadline approaching, JCC must either commit or step back. Meanwhile, key shareholders are showing their hand. Samuel/DGR/NM at 9.6%, and both BHP and Newmont hold over 10 % each. That is not a group likely to roll over easily. Then there are L & G as well as other institutions and a PI base estimated at 25%

SolGold is keeping its course. Deliver progress, reject opportunism, and let the value speak. Anyone serious about taking control will need to do a lot better than 26p. Great management and defence by DV and team. PS has a world of experience via Glencore dealing with the Chinese too.

Have been speaking with a few other shareholders over the last couple of days who mentioned that, unusually, they had not heard back from the Company in relation to a few questions they'd asked. Anybody here had more luck recently? Solgold Towers seems to have gone very quiet.

Needy, the group is together and communicates regularly. The other references to 'super' etc are all yours and nothing to do with me. I haven't checked recently but I think the group has about 60 million shares together. It is a constructive group and our votes could be useful soon. New members are welcome.

Is that right, Humbo? So how do you explain the move from 20p to 16p back in October, followed by a climb into the high 20s and then to over 30p? Selective memory, or just hoping nobody is keeping track?

You might want to look up Albert Bandura. His work on moral disengagement lays it out clearly. Some people operate in these spaces without a shred of responsibility. They push fear, manipulate sentiment, and when the facts blow up their narrative, they vanish. The infamous 5p raise prediction is a textbook example. Loud on the way down, silent on the way up. No ownership, no concern for those who listened. Just a quiet shift in tone like it never happened.

Fortunately, the real story here i.e. rising share price, rapidly growing institutional interest and project momentum, speaks for itself. And the share price over the last nine months reflects that, whether you or certain people wish to admit this or not.
