Afternoon TLC7.
Possibilities? Previously perhaps soil/stream sampling and various remote/ground sensing. Maybe with more funds, now drilling of already known potential targets. Would be nice if SG would tell of a plan for 2019 season as rather close to winter now.
Around Cononish? maybe extending data on known nearby anomalies, but more likely (IMO) establishing baseline data to compare with future environmental protection monitoring of the dry-stacking of waste quartz and associated drainage.
All educated guesses, but hopefully after final decision notice, SG will feel able to more freely inform, perhaps on the website.........hint!

Of a very sad chapter for all the employees and PI's that have lost money. I haven't posted here for a very long time, but as an interested retired geologist, I have followed this project since 2012 and made a modest profit 2014 to 2016, but as time passed without progress, I sold out for a small loss. For what it is worth, my DYOR suggested that this should have had a bulk trial processing and not relied upon the old one done in the 1980's and small-scale tests of drill core. Others here may have better knowledge. I do hope that RCF or new investor will have the bottle to get this going again for the sake of the SW and UK which really needs development of it's natural resources that have (IMO) been neglected for decades.

I have previously posted IMO that the Grampian Project needs moving on in preference to our two European excursions. The previously stated intention by the company to recommence work on this project in 2018, the appointment of new geologists and now placing funds stated to be primarily directed with this aim can only be taken as good news for the future of SG.

Some of us have perspective and some have blinkers. All the mining prospects/projects known to me have been two steps forward and one step back..............and that's the ones that make it!!!. Scotgold is no different, so that commenting on progress or lack of it is quite appropriate, but only constantly complaining about bad news when there is NO news (as at present), is not and is quite boring. I'm more likely to become immune to your grumbling than to bad news or joining the 'anti-baz fan club' and very unlikely to become a founder member of the 'Baz fan club.' LoL!
Having enjoyed myself holidaying in Benidorm some time ago, I would have thought the experience would have imparted some cheer to your demeanor, but it seems not. However, I am happy to take your posts at face value and be thankful that the tales from Miss Keepers' community are enriched by the Hon Basil (Mk 1)!

Yes, 2017 was I recall mentioned, but that was (if memory is correct) in the context of prior to the last PP application that has proved to be tortuous.

Picking on items in isolation to make a point is frequently made out of frustration and our Baz has plenty of that!

That said, I would agree with you that SGZ has (IMO) historically given forecasts without putting them into context of the source of data and it's likely accuracy (or not), which runs the risk of criticism and detraction.

None of this detracts from the potential of the project (IMO), but you are right in that it does not give a good impression.

Hopefully Miss Keeper will embroider for my birthday. LoL!

Baz, it has long been known that it would take about a year to get the mine and process plant operational, but thanks to 'third parties' and no doubt the associated legal leeches and NP, we still have no PP decision notice and so cannot start yet. Hence your accusations of ".....incompetence of this company....." are, I would suggest, misplaced and you might consider casting blame elsewhere in this instance. That said, the misgivings of yourself and Yayay on the timing and winter weather are understandable and so delay until Spring 2020 must logically be considered a possibility. Hence the sooner a start can be made, the better.

Yayay, my heartfelt sympathy and quite believable!
I still use a Barclays current account, but that is now all. My wife and I did have ISAs with them, but in the last five years, they twice bungled payments and transfers. I wrote very sarcastic letters to pursue their complaints procedure and persisted against their excuses until I exacted apology, correction, reimbursement of interest and compensation. Do NOT give up! Preferably use letters or emails rather than phone so you have a record of what is said. Make them PAY for their incompetence!!! I use interactive investor online for shares and have no grumbles.
