Thanks for your summary of the positives. I too look forward to news of target selection of a second mine, but to be realistic, a drilling program, assessment and feasibility study to JORC compliance would likely take at least 3 years, so to get that target to production is realistically unlikely to be less than 5 years. The first is always the hardest, so Cononish first!!!

I'm sure that the company is required to give accurate data (such as 93% recovery of Au, but 90 to 95% would be preferred), as I wish it would also give figures in context, so that investors appreciate the likely range of variation/imperfections (such as the stockpile is estimated from legacy data to contain 7.9 g/t Au on average) and leave it less open to keyboard critics. Just AISI.

Long time since we heard from you. Investing for 50 years? You must be even older than I. Respect m8. I agree that SGZ as a standalone, growing company is to be preferred.

You like to tease us with your tourism plan that may well have great merit, but it cannot be credited until viewed by your peers. So at what stage do you envisage unveiling you strategy??? Hope you'll respond, as if you don't then scepticism might consign your plan for a watery journey to South Worcestershire!

No good looking at history of SP unless you fancy yet another pop at TLC. Since 105p in 2016 summer, we have had SGZ+NP+lawyers=delay=dilution and part of financing=dilution. It was always going to be so just like many other mining projects, despite Shylock having claiming to have discovered it! No pain, no gain, but that's behind us, though it means that it will be harder to get the SP to £1. Hence the SP Angel note at circa 60p over the next year subject to getting the mine production-ready is probably realistic IMO. At full stage 1 production, who knows? In the meantime, we have only news on progress of mine construction to interest investors and speculators will more likely wait until just pre-production, having other things to do with there money in the mean-time. Hence unless RG plays 'Mary Poppins,' it is 'yawn time' again and an opportunity to top-up at under 30p for those investors inclined to do so. The more the merrier as this will progressively reduce the trading pool and make the share more volatile to news and a potential higher SP.

Well that's AISI. In H2 2019 you can have a pop at me if I'm wrong! LoL!

A very fine holiday in Somerset in 28-31deg.C thank you and it's still fine though a little cooler back home now.

Yes, got my timing right for once to sell at 104p, but then forgot that SGZ+NP+lawyers=delay=dilution and started buying back in at ~60p and averaged down ever since to under 40p. LoL! I should have learned that from SXX!

That "badly timed 80p placing" was for shareholders, but nothing of the sort for the company and got them a better value placing on the back of a near doubling of the SP in 1st half of 2016. Well played them! If anyone thought that cheeky, look at UKOG who's SP doubled since last Tuesday to 2.4p today and got away a 2p placing today to fund for next 18 months! Well done again. That's AIM for you!

Never say never to 80p. I sold at 104p in the summer of 2016! Was a bit too keen to buy back in, but never mind, what goes around comes around. The £1 club for SGZ is on my bucket list! LoL!

Hi Yayay. Yes it's all very fine for a rich man to opine that the accumulation of wealth is the passing of money from the impatient to the patient. On that score you deserve not just a return on your investment, but also a medal!!! Being a LTH is fine if you have enough time left and room for one more item on your bucket list! That said, mining projects are all very long term, but we have never been closer to coming up trumps. So I believe that we will be rewarded in the next two years. It is the nature and quality of the data that will no doubt be the focus of the company geo-team. Getting Cononish to production has to be the first priority, but demonstrating the potential of the Grampian project to show that it is not a one trick pony will grow the company IMO and NLR seems to have taken this on board. Hi Yayay. Time is not necessarily a healer when it passes on and the 'goalposts' keep moving, so your pessimism is understandable, but taking notice of or giving credence to any posters on here (including me!) is self-defeating. They are sometimes a source of information, but otherwise of amusement or entertainment. I have always taken the view that shares need DYOR and trading from time to time to minimize losses and take modest profits when available. With my laughably small 'pot' that is essential!!! SGZ is no different and so far on balance, I'm a little in pocket, but as Baz72 says, timing is everything. Though I'm just under water at a bit under 40p just now, it has never been nearer to production and cash generation, so we both have never been nearer to returning our stake and hopefully a bit of profit. You are right that good news has only given a short-term lift to the SP. Speculation only ever does that and then interest wanes and speculators take profits and move on. Building the mine will generate interest, but only production, income and profit will sustain it. 2019 will tell all even to South Worcestershire. Good luck to all here, R.

need an abacus as well as BBB? 8 trades recorded for 24644 shares, but shares listed as traded 49644! Was the 11.08 trade for 25000 (that may have been a sell) not to the liking of the LSE computer? Whatever, the SP went down about then, so perhaps only large trades are noticed by MMs, small ones or the sum of small ones ignored. Theories anyone?.............or jokes!!!
