Hi TLC7. Re the mystery prospective area. Comparing the co-ordinates, it could not be Coire Ghabalach, which is too far NE. It's position appears to be obscured by the Beinn Udlaidh data label on the 'Tyndrum Triangle' map included in your link and appears to be at/close to Invergaunan on the O.S. map and only about 2 to 3km NE of Tom a Chro. I've trawled my Scotgold maps and data back to 2013 and can find no reference to that position. Have you got any? Regards, R.

Evening Yayay. Thank you for your update.The fine weather has come also to the NE today, prompting my better half and self to venture to Whitby to partake of it's famous fish and chips. It might be 5000 wind-turbines instead, or a waste to -energy plant so it can become the dustbin of the UK or even Europe. No, got to be clean energy for Mr Gove............a nuclear power station??? Hi Glen, The old lead stopes on the south slope of Ben Odhar in the top picture of your link, can be seen to point to the old Tydrum Lead Mine working seen in the top right distance. Last May I found outcrop of the gold-bearing Haliday's vein on the RH side of that working. Regards, R.

Evening TLC7. Thanks for the added information. I also detected some environmental expertise in a brief online search. Might be useful in dealing with Pomar's arsenical ores. The BTP demonstrated that gravity methods can remove potentially harmful lead and other sulphides for concentrates to leave a benign waste for dry-stacking and similar care will be needed over there. Arsenic once good for green pigment in wallpaper, but some claim less so for Naploean! Co-incidental or are hidden agendas nothing new? The Grampian Structural Study of 2015 did indeed show in fig 1 the prospective features you mention, but also in the wider area of fig 3 showed a very prospective area a mile or two NE of Tom a Chro that no-one seems to have mentioned so far. In the special GSL paper by Nyree et al of 2014, the content suggests (IMO) the possibility of higher pyrite, lower galena content and more frequent breccia occurrence in this area, above granite at shallower depth, but much greater thickness.
