Just for the record, the coast of 'God's own county' is getting a light dusting of snow this morning. The newspapers have previously accused Putin of plotting cyber and election attacks and will no doubt be accusing him of a weather one by the end of the week, especially if chaos hits the SE. Your reference to our own lands, own manufacturers, own resources, our innovations and inventive minds, since WW2 have been neglected by failure to develop our own natural resources in environmentally-friendly ways and instead, to import them in favour of the short-term gain of importers based in the SE (including Reading) to take advantage of the communities and to the detriment of the environment in developing and under-developed countries. Cononish can be one of the few projects to reverse that trend and set standards for the future throughout the UK. Hopefully tomorrow, the planning committee will do their duty to the local community, national park and the country and set aside self-interest agendas. GLA, R.

Hi TLC and Eck. I share your reasoned belief that this project deserves and should succeed, but like many other mining projects it has been a case of two steps forward and one back and is not likely to change. Hence it all depends upon the ability and determination of the company to overcome obstacles. Next weeks PP is in sight, then financing and will there be any further dilution or not. More patience needed and gold production to happen, but we have never been so close and looked so good IMO. I hope to hear more on the Grampian Project this year that is so promising for the long term when Cononish is off the ground. GLA here, R.

Thanks Eck for your recent DAL v GAL v SGZ comparisons that support my view that we are all here in the right place with Scotgold. Both GAL and DAL are interesting, but have issues ahead that would nevertheless make them interesting at nearer 4p and 40p respectively. I am hopeful that SGZ can find financial sources that would keep the sp above 20p. Good news and progress will do the rest. Regards, R.

Alba seem to have wide-ranging prospects, but whether any are going anywhere, anytime soon seems IMO debatable. http://www.albamineralresources.com/ If their interests in Brockham (ANGS) and Horse Hill (UKOG) start to generate cash in next year or two, then other prospects might benefit. The GMOW interest a long-shot unless the SRK desk-study throws up something and the 3 to 5 times bullion value claim must be viewed as rarity/antigue of any left, as none has been produced from Clogau for twenty years! 'Bird in the bush' perhaps? DYOR needed. Others here may know more.......anyone? Cononish more advanced and Grampian Project more prospective IMO. Regards, R.

Hi TLC7. I came to similar conclusions researching Galantas. Dalradian looks more promising with funding and multiple veins, but 'selected' intersections of good grades, yet most of modest thickness (high dilution potential) left me in doubt of the true potential and hard to find more data. Have you any views??? Overall, I agree with you that Cononish and Scotgold have best potential IMO. Regards, R.
