All well thank you. Eldest daughter and family tests clear, so she is back at work in local nursing home where ALL residents and half the staff tested positive last week. Just thought I'd throw that in in case anyone was enthused by last night's 'back to work, but be alert' message from the Uxbridge village idiot. Domdom says this morning that it was a clear message and will be explained in a 50 page document this afternoon. LoL! I know she's not popular with some on this board, but I'll stick with the word from Krankie, thank you and I'm not even in Scotland! Proper H & S risk assessment before SG starts up again. No false moves, as even in China and S. Korea, there are new outbreaks!

RM, China has just been opportunist. The UK and many others have for decades embraced globalization, 'just in time' logistics, relied upon importing cheaply and exporting the environmental and social consequences, whilst neglecting our strategic home resources, industries and security of capability. That is why we are in such a mess. Lions led by donkeys!
At least we will soon become self -sufficient in gold!

His suggestion to imbibe disinfectant to kill the covid is splendid fake news, but follows the simple logic of yer average clown that anything is good for a laugh. Indeed it would kill the covid and the patient too, thereby removing the problem so everyone remaining alive can get back to work. Will the comedian of the Ukraine and the Uxbridge village idiot follow suit? Hopefully not, as those Scots reading this board will surely have a better idea that, as it is well-known that the best sanitizers have a high alcohol content, the drinking of Scotch Whiskey must surely be beneficial in fighting the covid and everyone will surely enjoy this medication. Gold finds increasing medical uses, so all we need now is a scientific breakthrough, showing that it can help fight the pandemic to ensure that Cononish is restarted forthwith and so the SP will rocket!!!

Anyone see last evening's Channel 5 'Britain's most Scenic Railway?' A continuous showing of the entire journey by steam train from Fort William to Mallaig without commentary.........most relaxing and of course passing Loch Morar! My wife and I did the same journey several years ago...........highly recommended! 45407 looked resplendent and was 'copped' by me in the late 50s as recorded in my 1957 Ian Allen 'ABC British Railways Locomotives.' My 1959 'Locoshed Book' records it's shed as Kentish Town, North London, so I likely saw it at St. Pancras, St Albans or Luton.

Bellers, talk of timing on lifting of lock-down is worrying. AISI, none can be entertained until covid-testing of ALL NHS and care staff is achieved and that is respect as father and grandfather to 5 members of my family! Beyond that, back to work can only be entertained in businesses where social distancing at work can be achieved and a total return when all suspected cases can be tested with contacts traced and isolated. It is practical achievements rather than timescales that are the critical criteria. People must come first and the economic impact we must just deal with as best we can.

Carliol, welcome. Much has changed since your 2010 visit and even more since my last in 2017. There has always (IMO) been potential in this project and other prospects nearby. Lets hope that some work may recommence soon, even if under strict conditions, as every little helps to get closer to production.

RM, as you say, other minerals contained in the ore may figure in the future and Scotgold are partners in the ION$RAW project. Resource supply security will become more important in a less certain future.

Well spotted story Glen. Someone clearly thinks that the future is in gold!
They are probably right, as after governments around the world are printing more money than there is paper or plastic to print on to keep the financial world afloat. Gold might then be the only investment left!!!
