I believe nearly all the bad news is out there now including Tim's massive divorce bill, just need some clarification on the new Morrison's agreement and if there's any dilution of the old agreement we need to be concerned about. Andover not far from opening, Marie Claire site to be launched, further double digit growth expected, further licensing deals maybe in the pipeline, a few reasons to be optimistic. Need a finish above £3 to keep the momentum going. should see a few nervous shorts buckling then !

There could be a few things going on in the background regards this, one concern I do have is that Andy never bought any shares in MDZ from day one which doesn't inspire confidence being the finance director and also executive director, 18 months on he's gone to pursue other interests so in my opinion he was never going to be around for that long. This is a crunch year for MDZ so his leaving is a bit of a surprise following on from all the good news, but MDZ need a settled team in place going forward, are the current BOD difficult to work with? You always get these personality clashes at board level, I see it myself in the company I work for all the time !

Ocado Group PLC Founder and Chief Executive Tim Steiner might be forced to sell part of his multimillion-pound stake in the online grocery delivery company amid a bitter divorce battle, according to a report by the Times. The Times reported on Monday that Steiner is facing a legal fight with his wife after he moved in with a Polish model who is almost 20 years his junior. Court documents reveal that Steiner is seeking a divorce on the ground of his wife's "unreasonable behaviour", the Times said, adding that a court battle and expensive settlement could force a sale of part of his 5% stake in Ocado.

Don't mind what Tim does in his own time, if it affects the day to day running of the company we have a problem and so does he which is where the others members of the board need to step in. Sounds like the press are trying to make a big deal of it when everyone seems to have moved on.

Don't think I could have put that much better, very few seem to appreciate the long game here and the unique business model Ocado have. I saw back in 2012 the vast potential and nothing has changed my mind since, as Marmite you either going to love it or hate it but I can only see Ocado getting stronger whilst others perish except for Amazon and now Sainsburys imo

I'd forget about that next deal until the summer, the BOD are still insisting the interest is there and I believe them. On the trading update it's as expected, shame about the drop in the average basket size once more. Might be worth posting out in the figures food against non food as percentages of the basket also.

Ocado are being shorted as some bears out there think they just sell groceries, I know I've chatted with enough of them. Morrisons and Sainsburys are being shorted due to the advent of both ALDI and LIDL, both look vulnerable to the rise of our German friends although Sainsburys is fighting back. Amazonfresh has now pitched up thanks to Morrisons, we're waiting to see how that pans out. Tesco is the basket case right now (junk status) and ASDA is in steep decline. The whole grocery sector should be avoided except for Ocado who licence out their technical know how.
