The market seems to like Ocado once more, good rise today on the Mace update

Interesting that they will have a new CEO installed as from 30th April, whether that bears any relation to future progress regards Ocado I don't know, it seems the new guy will carry on where the previous CEO left off. The link with Publix was reported in the Times so there could be some truth in the rumour, who knows ?

If Duncan's to be believed (and I take a large pinch of salt with that) then there will be more than one deal this year, all rumour and gossip at this point though, pens on dotted lines wouldn't go amiss ! Not heard of Publix before but they certainly generate some sales and are currently expanding into other US states.

Ocado is moving closer to launching in the United States after signing a deal with a leading logistics company. The Times understands that Ocado has hired Mace to advise it on how it should it make its American debut. This could come ahead of a licensing deal to supply online shopping for a US retailer. Mace beat competition from rivals including Jacobs Engineering Group, Arup, CH2M and Aecom.
