Increased capacity means increased sales exponentially, the cost of adding in a few more stacks is nothing compared to building the warehouse in the first instance from scratch. The cost of expansion is a fraction of the initial cost, not rocket science is it?

Do you actually understand what Ocado do ? I'm beginning to wonder, Mace are seeking sites for the OSP on Ocado's behalf (as they have no knowledge of the US market) for we "assume" Publix who were quoted in the Times as a potential partner. Publix wouldn't source their own sites as they don't have a platform, but Ocado do as they will be licensing it out to this potential partner who for arguments sake could be Publix, then again it could be another US grocer, who knows? Groceries shipped from the modular warehouse would belong to the US grocer using Ocado's technology, this would also include "click and collect" points and an alternative delivery method. Is this clear enough now or do you want further detail like who's employees will actually be driving the vans, I seem to recall you got slightly confused on this little detail from memory

That article is a year old ? I don't think Ocado would be sourcing suitable sites in the US via logistics company Mace for the fun of it

Very late in reporting this transaction, it should have come out a lot sooner but an interesting development all the same, I'm more confident now that the SP could easily double from here this year
