You'd better do a little more research, there's the 25 year tie up with Ocado to consider for any potential suitor takes a plunge regards a takeover, remember you're buying lock, stock and biscuit barrel, see what that means?
I bought some custard creams in my local LIDL last week for 18p (how do they make a profit)?, The MRW equivalent even on offer is virtually double the price, pro rata 35p, just a snap shot against one product but that's what you're up against, no one noticed the difference in taste either! The new LIDL concept store looks state of the art whereas my local Morrisons looks ordinary and stuck in time, ALDI haven't even arrived in town yet but they plan to later this year.
Now Morrisons have let Amazon enter the market as not only a customer but a competitor I believe they're going to struggle. The UK grocery market is already saturated and here's yet another player in town.
