The difficulty is why would anyone bid without the approval of MM?
He has the Golden Share until Sept so without his prior approval they would just be wasting their time and giving information away?
That’s what happened last year and I am guessing that spooked the markets yesterday?
Thankfully his Linkedin posts didn’t suggest he had rejected anything.
I don’t expect any offers without his approval.

I think we need to take a step back and work out the problem and the solution first.
I don’t think the cause is the obvious.

I suspect that the problem is that Bloomberg used to only report the news but now they report their opinion.
Sadly the two now get confused.

Sadly Bloomberg have a tie up with IG so it went to their clients at the same time as Bloomberg subscribers.

A reputable Bloomberg journalist wrote the article that on initial publication did not move the price.
It happened later.
