Quite possibly but the book looked it was shorts closing as lines of sells stacked and left for them by MMs (secured for them in advance over past few weeks).

If we get a bad RNS tomorrow we know it’s MM that told his mates last Thursday as I am sure Apollo are 100% secure.

Today’s trading data was worse than Thursday despite the smaller drop but let’s see what tomorrow brings.

If there is no RNS it SHOULD be ok but without some positive reports somewhere I don’t know.

The recording of trades and the allocation of trades (buys/sells) on private investor platforms is appalling.

Only the trades without any assigned code are accurately recorded.

It’s a mess.

An ordinary trade is an off book trade.

Anyway we’ll find out tomorrow at 7.

Hopefully I am wrong and then we have a strong open.

London SE should not record them as a buy or a sell as they don’t know what they were?

It’s actually the same with AT trades which also could be either - AT trades aren’t booked later but are trades from traders with DMA access so it’s impossible to accurately record.

The closing auction was appalling on high volume but let’s hope tomorrow’s opening auction is better.

I assume you monitor LSE or similar pricing data which only display London Stock Exchange data not the other exchanges.

It was an organised volume sell off.

Let’s hope I am not right and we don’t get an RNS confirming what I suspect.

52% buying unlike last Thursday

I agree it’s not shorts adding but it’s also not stops tripping - look at the large off book trades.

Today it was genuinely large holders selling into a weak market.

Fair enough LSE site usually slow.

Anyway tomorrow should reveal the answer but I am not hopeful.
