I think we would all rather a straight up correctly priced full takeover but given the ownership, personalities involved and history some form of a PE Fuelled MBO was always by far and away the most likely outcome.
For me it’s more about the price than the deal itself.

I agree that in my view it’s not a distressed take over but after the recent results THE MARKET has priced that in.
Hence the share is trading at 100p

IMHO it’s either a PE distressed take over at 120-170p or a PE fuelled agreed MBO with major shareholder rollin at 250p?
No idea which will happen at the moment but the market has priced the first option and the Twitter (and BB) gossip indicates the later.
