That’s a lot of retail volume.

Oke yes it was retail today but that’s MM’s mates.

Big wallets but retail investors like most of us.

Let’s hope it was just a huge retail investor that unexpectedly panicked.

AT trades was usually programmed trades (algo trades) via someone with DMA access - ask your broker.

Anyone paying for DMA access buys at the lower price and sells at the higher price and so confuses all the Data.

O trades are off book so all never accurately recorded.

You know they are desperate not an institutional investor because only a desperate amateur would line up the volume on the sell side and tip it down in bulk.

If it was any other time it could have been someone building a short but even there they would do it more cautiously.

It was millions of share from one source.

All IMHO but I pray and hope I am wrong.

Its a nonsense because with THG over 75% of the recorded trades are either O or AT trades.

With FTSE 100 companies it’s usually around 15-20%

No one can accurately record either O (off book) or AT trades.

It’s absolutely impossible.

All buy/sell data that includes these trades is absolute nonsense data.

There were millions of shares thrown at the sell side today.

Someone thinks or knows the deal is dead.

Absolutely no other explanation.

Without a positive update I expect this will tank again from the open.

But I pray we get positive news before open.

Watching L2 there was a massive seller adding to the sell side in blocks 10k, 25k, 60k and 100k and just not enough buyers so the share tanked. No an orderly exit but it looked very similar to the period just before the previous bid failed - His mates sold first.

Sorry to report the bad news but suspect it was obvious to all.

I also assume the Qube weren’t interested in picking up the shares today which is another bad sign.

Suspect Qube reduced again yesterday when it was taken down below 80p twice.

They always seem to get out just in time although I suspect the small private spread-better shorts will be left getting caught?

Appreciate the update

US markets dying on their feet tonight so would be handy to get news before open as I suspect the MMs will play the markets to help their clients closing shorts out again tomorrow?
