I can confirm that it’s my understanding the QIA won’t finance MM.

Ideas what next as no obvious options

The candidate list must be short as the cash required is enormous without debt and can’t be PE given his new red lines?

I assume Kelso weren’t invited to rollin under the rejected Apollo proposal.

Apollo terminated the Wood Group discussions but it was the other way round with THG.

THG terminated them and refused an extension.

I assumed it was under a NDA set up by Apollo but that’s clearly not the case so I don’t understand their defence?

Sounds more like an excuse not a reason?

I know I suggested QIA in the first place.

But that was before MMs recent behaviour.

The QIA will be tmost upset with his recent behaviour.

I now question whether they would risk the fallout of future outbursts.

They are extremely conservative investors.

Friday low was actually 56.44p high was 71.62p

Believe 57p is the uptrend line and that's where we bounced on Friday.

Technicals

c.57p Fridays Low and c.74p thurs close

S1 55.68p

S2 48.47p

S3 40.50p

Below all moving averages bar the 200 at 60.56p

So I would say it's not great -Tecnically a 'strong sell'

We really need that dead cat bounce as in theory its oversold.

Apollo probably believed it was a chance for MM to roll in and cerment his future.

If he loses the company in a hostile take over post GS he loses everything he has biuilt.

MM believes he does not need his GS as he has 65% sharehold support.
