I agree with your take on the RNS, but if that’s the case, JOG have only spent a couple of million so far, and they will need to raise massive sums (200M?) to progress the FDP. Will that be a placing, farm down? Dunno but think that risk will hold the SP down until more info is shared.
An exciting couple of days! Tempting to top up but already in heavy! Great to have discovered resource but somewhat worthless if you can’t get it out the ground, let’s hope Statoil come forward with a generous carry, but RNS implies costs to date only? Also notice chairman buy at this level which is nice to see, but small purchase for the big man. I’m in it long term for the win, exciting times!
They have enough cash in the bank from the last raise to sink an exploration well in cortina, so lot of upside at 74p, just need to hold in for another year.
Still holding in here, I take solace to see soo many of us with the same prayers. Keeping thinking back to the AB Malcy interview ‘this is a SAFE appraisal well’...gee and it turns out a duster :( pray to the rns gods
Exciting, fingers crossed they are going to try a side track or go deeper. Perhaps a little too much wishful thinking, it would almost be an exact rerun of two years ago for many of us loitering here to recoup our ‘investment’. Anyone happen to see the Havila Borg loaded up with drill pipe in Peterhead this morning...lol
Can’t make my mind up on Aminex, share price suggests investors might be worried about a call on shareholders for further funds? Any good news on the horizon that might bump the price? Do you know if they are still working on getting that well back in production? Or are we just sitting tight for a change of heart from the TZ government?
Surprisingly low number of trades given the rig is onsite and this is an appraisal well, remember in the run up to drilling the exploration well in 2017 it was ramping up 10p a day. Looks like drilling might roll over into new tax year :) good for the ISA, maybe not good for the well :-0
