Brilliant video, no mention of future projects, operatorship, etc. come buy us. They’ve delivered to promise so far, two farm outs at £6 a share, no way they won’t close the deal for their share of the prize. Very exciting 2024 ahead!
Interesting to see this trending down. I look at all the work AB & Co. has done , farming out 80% of the opportunity at £6 a share…to leave themselves their own share valued at £1.80 a share? No way they don’t have a plan to capture their own share of the spoils at £6+
Patience
My guess is share price hasn’t moved due to political uncertainty, hopefully some NSTA approval will help get things moving, then we need clarity on what the future of the company is? Sell up or buy assets? Fingers crossed DU isn’t pushing the daisies up, hate the thought of his heirs going to the will reading and learning of his 2.9% ownership of a Jersey based Oil Co. Stay strong Dick.
Appreciate the crystal gazing einbert. For what it’s worth, I can’t see any Labour gov killing the North Sea, they are going to want every penny they can get in tax. Amazing the psychology of investing, happy to pay 220p pre farmout out, now the hard bit has been done, should really be betting the house. Would be nice to see some director purchases.
So what happens next? Is jog ever likely to operate anything? Does the SP drift down to 50p and bought out by management on the cheap? Is there a buyer for the remain 20% or company? Or do we sit tight for a dividend in 2028? Oh wise board, appreciate if you can tell me the likely future! HNY :)£
Lol, you also said this Nov 29th…who cares, enjoy the ride
“ Wintershall is too big for HBR management - both debt and operations. Instead - negotiate a side deal post acq'n and let HBR acquire Winershall Mexico portfolio say $1bn - which is a mix of Exploration, junior stage assets lead time prod'n and mature assets, including Zama, Block 30 Ogarrio - mature and Block 29. Manageable size cash acq'n, no dilution, mega addition to reserves huge - and upside prod'n profile - highly accretive with all outside of UK production. Win Win Adnoc, who are lazy and need concentrate on instant output to support cash bid with instant discount the bid - All IMO. Do they want to be in Mexico??? FFS
Preserves momentum for HBR and well within the financial capabilities of HBR facilities. Which is a very well managed business , great TU in the midst of a taxation storm. HNY GLA Huge upside - there are few competitors within the $1-3bn cash - bracket.”
Low political risk with an energy mix like this today

All the naysayers said it couldn’t be done, but we did it! Drilled Verb, found oil, dilution, farmed out, bought an FPSO, farmed out again for free carry to black gold. All Done. And for what…two pound thirty pence! Perhaps this now drifts back to £1.30 and Big Ron and AB buy us all out for £1.50. What an omni shambles. To all fellow LTH’s who have wasted 7 years watching for 7am RNS alerts, have a lie in tomorrow.
The EPL seems like a bit of a red herring, sure it’s unfair and punitive, but from what I can see it’s future impact has been taken as a one off hit this year. Next year we have a company that’s is forecast to have post tax profits of a billion, a 7% yield, no debt and a 2 billion market cap? EIG were buying at the same time Blair was selling? Wonder if there is monkey business there? Taking it private again?
Director selling is the only red flag I can find, the stock seems irrationally priced.
Increasingly like the look of this stock. Can anyone explain the insider selling by Blair Thomas?
Definitely a positive, hard to take seriously as a company as a penny share. They are sitting on material shares in the most exciting SNS play in years with a major committed to the opportunity. Their share in Pensacola must be worth the current market cap, never mind Selene when that comes along. Sure this will multibag, after the consolidation in the next 12 to 24 months.
