yea cheers Karv1, lets hope it does get back up to the 240 plus again, this is 5% of my portfolio, so not worried about it too much, but it's still dissapointing when the dam shares drop after you've invested, and annoying lol

Mrg123, hope so, tough times at the moment, dividend is good, but doesn't make up for this big drop in the sp, lets hope we see a big improvement next year

Some people here have been ramping this share up for years, possibly because they have over invested here and don't want to accept what a bad investment this has been, the realty is the only way this has been going is backwards, i just hope we get better results here next month, so i can i can reduce my losses here, as it's not even worth selling at the moment, so best of luck to everyone

a big mistake on my behalf investing here, bought it at 240, as it was looking like it was heading towards 250 plus at the time, just bad timing on my behalf, anyway hoping this will get back up there, i expect my best chance will be on approach to ex div
coming April, if not will hold until hopefully things will improve

So what's holding this down, is it just more sellers than buyers, or is there something else going on in here

Ab2332 well done for picking that winner, always great to see a share going up after buying, for me it's been a case of any good ones are just helping to make up for losses on the bad ones, which have been doing well in the past, but on the whole my portfolio is making very little gains, hopefully they will all come good again, but it's anybodys guess when that will happen

Dan, Re: (precious" vod shares), not sure about that one mate, the time for ramping is when the sp is rising, not when its dropping, my Lloyds bank shares are doing well right now with the hint of a rate increase, but nothing much else is to be honest, as much as I would like to offload my vod shares, selling at these prices don't make much sense to me, so lets just hope we get some good results next month, , things will get better at some point, but still some difficult times ahead for a while i think

jing & sidi, it's very comforting to know its not just me that's jinxed with these shares lol, just hoping the law of averages will be in my favour and some will come good

good luck with that sidi, hope it goes to 1600 before you sell, what usually happens with me, is I sell and it keeps on rising or I don't sell and it drops, maybe I did something bad in a previous life lol, its not all bad though, as long as I can make more than I lose I will be happy with that
One thing I have realised though is not to be influenced by people on some of these boards, no matter how clever and knowledgeable they think they are, but you need a lot of luck on your side sometimes, especially for a novice like me

Re: the luckyguy, at least you don't lose money in the bank ? , its probably so cheap as nobody knows what the next results will reveal, hopefully it will be good, but its just fingers crossed for that, and hope for the best

Think it will be a long term hold for me, as this share has been good for me, but will be something to consider in April, have never used stop loss or limit orders before, but from what I've been told they are very unreliable

Good luck getting your 1580 sidi my friend, also my biggest holding lloyds is looking prosperous at the moment, let's hope things start moving in the upward direction

Always remember, what goes up, comes back down at some point

If share price goes over 300 by April ex div , sell and buy back later at lower price or hold and take dividends, what are your thoughts guys
