RE: I wonder how many switched?27 Oct 2021 20:46
Good evening mole, what is nvda, it doesn't come up on the search here ? , vod is less than 5% of my portfolio, so not that bothered about it, but of course I would like to minimise my losses with it , but too big a loss selling at this price IMHO to be honest it seems I'm not very good at picking shares they seem to drop like a stone as soon as I buy them, and take years to recover, Vodafone and Saga were two bad buys for me, but thank goodness I do have some good ones as well, the big favourite of mine is legal and general good dividend payer, one which i topped up on when the prices bottomed out so have an average of 229, as you say don't care if price drops as I will see it as a top up opportunity, one other I'm banking on is lloyds again one I topped up on when prices dropped, to an uncomfortable level for me 25% of portfolio, but with interest rates about to rise there is a possibility of doubling my money there I hope, thank goodness I left 50% of my portfolio in funds and investment trusts, fundsmith and smt being the best, well worth the small charges I think leaving it to the experts, all my funds are in profit , cant say the same about my shares, my most recent purchase was mng bought in at 240 now its dropped to 200, but hopefully it will come back, just don't seem to be very good at picking individual shares, my timing is terrible, how are things going with your investments, and how are the crypto currency's going, I know that's something Dan is interested in, but he's probably to shy to ask, ( only joking of course )
If anyone's got any good investment ideas please let know
best of luck
