Yes mp, looking good for lgen, the markets in general were up today, so not sure how much of this was down to the interest rate rise, looking for for a £3 plus finish for april i think, and hopefully a dividend increase as well -))

Dan, Mikey was having a few moans, because he was frustrated about the share price dropping this week, I don't think anyone here gave a dam about that, the reason he got 4 recommends, is for wishing everyone a merry xmas and happy new year without insulting anyone on this board, the only one who's been a pathetic idiot this week is you, do yourself a favour and apologise to the many people you have insulted this week, sorry mate, I'm just telling you as a friend

I agree with Gary, this has not been a good investment the last few years, but also with Compound, just hold on until next may guys, surely the share price will be a lot better than it is now ?, and we can collect a little dividend while waiting

Sorry paul, i didn't mean that, think you got a good price there, just meant it could possibly go a little lower, if more covid restrictions kick in, who knows, but looking past that, dividend looks well covered, and would think the sp will be higher on approach to exdiv

It's more like what we want and hoping it to be st the moment Dan, i expect Mikey and others will be more optimistic, when we see the price moving up, but it is starting to go

Cheers mikey, yea we keep hoping, this is a frustrating share, let's hope next year see's covid getting under control and a big improvement in share prices, i want to believe it, but it's a case of show me the money to make it real

Re: fair price, think you would need a dam good crystal ball, to predict what's going to happen in the next couple of months, but good luck

Mikey, what are your thoughts on what the share price will be next spring, i expect this is probably discussed in the offices with you

@paul. same here with a few exceptions, try to keep most individual shares no more than 5% of portfolio, I have a couple of shares I would just like to get back in the blue to get shot, but the ones doing well I would rather keep hold and collect the dividend, and try and lower the average when a good opportunity comes along, rather than gambling on trying to time the market for a short term gain, not sure what figures people are dealing with to make it successful, but if it's working for them, then good luck to them

Is the trading really worth it in the long run, as appart from the charges, you are probably increasing your average price as well, suppose it depends on the cash ammount involved

Hi Gary, I agree shares can be more exciting, unless you pick a few wrong ones like me, hopefully they will come good soon though, I sold off a few of my least performing funds , to average down on lloyds when the price dropped down to the 20s & 30s which is now my biggest holding 25% of portfolio

Dan, with Brexit and the Pandemic, it's not been normal times the last few years, with regards to Vod, I understand what fleccy is saying, but we would all like to see the share price and dividend rise, if that happens then no reason not to hold here, so let's hope Fleccy, Compound, Android etc. have called it right, then the rest of us will be smiling, and Mole-man will be eating Humble Pie, speaking of which, he will probably bring us back down to earth soon

Well each to his own Dan & Gary, I have 9 funds and investment trusts all in the blue and making a nice profit, then I have 5 individual shares, one being legal & general, which is my all time favourite and making a nice profit, then I have 4 individual shares , vod being one of them, which are all in loss, as for the ones in loss, they could possibly make a good profit for me next year, or not ? but you have to make your own decisions whether you think something is worth holding onto or not, moaning everyday about it won't make them any better, but I guess some people just enjoy doing it, maybe it makes them feel better

Dan, good luck with a reply there ?, I would be weary of over positive posts though , no disrespect to Compound, but as you well know, we've heard it all before, hope he's right though of course, still think there's a good chance of recovery here, but cautiously optimistic are my thoughts, lets hope there's a bit of movement in the right direction next week

I hope your wrong about that robina, I'm hoping this will get to around 240 close to exdiv day, time will tell how we go with that one, once this virus hopefully gets stabilized, hoping 2022 will be a better year
