Throne, I advised my wife to invest a few thousand in Lloyds back in 2015 and she's still in loss with it, she will never take my investment advice again lol, and puts all her spare money into premium bonds now

steve305 and CSDI , Steve well I don't like to lose an argument, so quite happy to accept those comments lol, we all know there's some very turbulent times ahead of us, so been dipping my toes in more dividend stocks, so the plan for me is to make a few more payments into some of these shares depending on which I think I can get the best value from, so any further top ups will have to be lower than my first, and don't mind if I have to wait several months to get a low average, lgen is my number one favourite always has been, but I'm getting a bit heavy there now, csdi Lloyds has been a big disappointment for me. it just keeps getting knocked down by one thing after the other, topped up heavy there during the pandemic, and is now 25% of my portfolio, still dreaming of it getting to 70p so i can get out with a nice profit then reduce my holdings there by at least 50%, retirement for me this year guys, so dividend income will be a priority for me now

Dan, not a bad idea selling a few off, but you will probably be buying them back at a higher price, maybe worth putting some of that money into something else ?, I know what your going to say already lol, I see Porsche has been playing games with you guys again, and rattling your cages, he's probably lonely bless him

Hi CSDI, well it was only 2p up when I looked early this morning, and thought I would wait until the afternoon to see if it dropped back before buying, next, time I looked it shot up, I know it's probably still a good buy but it's put me off a bit having lost out, will keep a check on it for a few days, if not I have a few shares going exdiv this week and may stick to my original plan and top one up if they drop below my average, but very pleased for you and the guys here and hope it keeps rising for you

CSDI if it's any help mate, hl link, they seem to think lloyds will take off very soon with higher interest charges, weirdos on that lloyds board, hl have got lloyds in one of the 5 shares to buy this year, not sure this is a good time for trading that one

Hi CSDI, I've been watching this one for a while now, and will be buying in Monday or Tuesday, after what's happened in the last few years, pretty much impossible to predict anything anymore, my timing is usually pretty awful, so usually buy into a new share in 2 or 3 stages, don't you just hate it when the share price drops the next day or you sell out too early ? I'm currently in av, dlg, lgen, lloy, mng vod, saga and 9 funds, so psn will help to diversify my portfolio a little

Well dividend stocks seem to be the right way to go now guys, we all know there's difficult times ahead, and lgen has been the most reliable dividend payer for me throughout the Pandemic, so I have no intention of selling this one, I have a few stocks paying out dividends in May, and agree pooling them all into another dividend stock seems like a good idea to me

Hi guys, I'm looking for another good dividend stock, I'm a currently too heavy in insurance stocks, so this one seems like a good addition, the only thing that concerns me is how well do you think the sp will hold up with inflation and more interest rises, do you think this is a good entry price ?

Gary, I have been doing the same as you, but was going to try auto reinvest with Hargreaves, but after what you and robina said about it, have just changed it back to hold in account, I should have known they work it to their advantage
