Everyone seems to be siding with Exon but was this their plan to up sticks and spend as little as possible. How much would it have cost to settle this a million US dollars. Let us not kid ourselves they pay top dollar to their workers and there are not that many of them. They have lost more in lost sales of oil and pherhaps the years of service with a previous employer count for nothing as TUPE does not apply in Chad. Something has ****ed the workers off and to sit at home with no pay over a bonus as your employer hires new workers seems strange to me. I am selling the business for hundreds of millions of dollars and can pay a bonus that would cost maximum two or three million but will go to the expense and trouble of hiring contractors and extra security and the hassle of training new staff etc to save less than 1/2 a percent of my sales proceeds are big corporate that stupid.
