When Sidara were after Worley they built up a shareholding reportedly around 23.5%. With Wood they buy nothing, even at this stage! What does that tell us?
RE: Rival bidders - π¦ Batman begins25 Nov 2025 22:23
I never said I thought there was another bidder but I'm open to the fact it's still a possibility however small. I will be hanging on to my shares until the fat lady sings for that reason alone. If you believe Wood has more value than 30p then you should believe another bid is a possibility.
RE: Chances of a second bid deadline - wben25 Nov 2025 17:37
There is a possibility another bidder will emerge until no possibility exists. I am holding my shares with that very small hope because it only has an upside.
Sidara already knocked off 5p per share for a potential negative outcome from the FCA or so it looked due to timing. If it's an all clear from the FCA then Sidara bag our 5p.
Amec Foster Wheeler was aquired by Wood because they were a competitor and winning contracts. OK that didn't work out well due to Wood's poor DD and ultimately paying to much.
Sidara/Wood will be massive in the sector and big trouble for the likes of Worley so where are they?

Froggs are you on X? I am sure a few here would love to follow you.
I'm sure most of the die hards here will be around for a while as the Wood roller coaster hasn't stopped or derailed for now. This board is far from over because wipeout or riches is still a coin toss IMO.
This 'investment' has really been depressing but your posts have helped us through.
The cost of a single orange can range from approximately Β£0.20 to Β£0.56. Unaffordable for Woodgroup shareholders during suspension at 18.44p. After today, cheap oranges can be purchased at the delight of shareholders who now can avoid developing scurvy.
Froggs, this is Wood and you will have been here as long as I and know the likelihood of shareholders getting screwed over yet again hence the discount. I am hanging on but God knows why. Good luck to you.
Date on which the threshold was crossed or reached was 12-Nov-2025 and they wait until today when shares aren't trading. Can anyone decipher the RNS to determine if it is of any importance?
