Hi, just had a reply from Albas PR regards this mornings RNS - I don’t like quoting personal emails so in short - Our relationship with NRW is perfectly fine & things are progressing as normal/expected but due to the increased rain Alba have increased output to preserve works whilst we wait for NRW - nothing sinister or untoward NRW are just slow…. GLA

Copland - I emailed her several weeks ago but didn’t get a reply (I’ll check my junk email) - Alba just released a tweet basically saying all work is now complete but for level 4…. GLA

Ian12 - I politely disagree - I think we are dealing with a left leaning organisation who care not for business/has no business acumen & are only interested in ticking boxes (slowly) - All government bodies/councils etc move incredibly slowly it’s just endless meetings & little action with them. GLA

Agreed Pickedpeck - NRW have shown themselves up to be incompetent & difficult - They should be embarrassed by todays RNS, that a company has had to resort to emergency measures due to their intransigence . I hope heads roll at NRW & the emergency increase is quickly issued. GLA

One would hope NRW will call an urgent meeting today & issue the temporary license or they risk looking reckless &/or incompetent or just intransigent …. Come on NRW do the right thing! Scotalba, have you heard anything? GLA

So Alba have found a legal loophole whilst we await official increase - if NRW weren’t so difficult it wouldnt have been needed - Well done Alba (NRW should be embarrassed if they’ve potentially put workers at risk)…. Small delay to drone survey but that’s the CAA - GLA

Sounds positive, fingers crossed things start moving forward again - I see our seller isn’t done though yet - they must of had a load…. GLA

@shirley - yes the pumps are adequate for the job NRW however is another point…. GLA

Why do you say the pumps can’t cope? I’ve heard nothing regards the pumps only that NRW hamstrung the extraction rates we are allowed to pump - NRW are the reason dewatering hasn’t completed (Alba wanted a higher rate & NRW gave us a fraction of what was asked for, NRW are useless, the proverbial thorn in our side) - GLA

Eddy, George has said Alba are constantly looking for new investments that are a good fit, I don’t follow Scotgold but maybe there are assets he'd consider?

Come on NRW stop stalling & do the right thing for heavens sake! GLA

So alas our mystery seller still isn’t done - Anybody any ideas who it could be & how many they might have left - very frustrating :-( ….. They’ll run out eventually that’s a given…. GLA

Nice 10K buy there at 12:34pm - whoever the persistent seller is the sells keep getting snapped up - better they sell at bottom of the chart than kill any incoming rise…. GLA

@inspirednotion - we are expecting several

updates (update on enhanced dewatering, drone survey, waste pit application & a significant GROC update) - they are expected this month so an RNS could drop anytime - GLA

Copland, I’m 51 & everybody needs to experience a left wing government just to realise how bad they are - happening in Wales & look at the SNP up north - the left are already getting public sector workers to strike here in England in an attempt to bring the government down - I suspect a labour government (which despises hard work &/or success) will hammer any dividends/share profits punters make & use the funds to buy votes via more benefits…. I’m just thankful my mortgage will be cleared come the election - my poor folks were paying 19% when I was a kid in the 70s… This will move soon enough (shares go up/down & sideways), shares fall in & out of favour but remember it can all change with a single RNS or media article… GLA

Cheers ScotAlba, that’s encouraging to hear just frustrating NRW don’t simply issue a temporary increase whilst we await the official long term increase…. It’s water that would have gone down the river anyway so why are they so slow… GLA

Greeno: Thanks for that, always surprises me people’s level of research & insight (water level a metre lower than a month algo when the rains hit) - then you get those with no knowledge or research who just criticise & moan all the time - News incoming ;-) GLA

DriverMike, if it does the job what does it matter or would people prefer they tiled it or maybe thatched it like an old English cottage - I’d rather they used our funds diligently to get the job done…. GLA

Has our mystery seller finally finished offloading - We can start the climb back if so (never understood people selling at the bottom of chart but obviously desperate)… Any news Scot on NRW timelines as it should be a news heavy month (for us & GROC) - GLA

George said in recent interview that Alba are in regular communication with NRW & that despite human resource being tight NRW have said they are going to try & fast track it…. GLA

Indeed, I think as shareholders we forget how much building & safety prep has happened on site… We may not be seeing the RNSs we desire most but progress IS being made on a daily basis… GLA
