If these coins do go for what we hope I think there will be some shocked punters who are just pricing them at spot gold plus a bit - The royal connection is significant - I wonder if we could get a Royal warrant for providing the gold to the Royals?

It’s a moot point anyway as we know GF wouldn’t put his hand in his pocket - he could have stumped up cash & bought shares at a higher price at anytime… let’s hope these coins surprise the market (in a good way) GLA

You’d hope GF would put his money where his mouth is & put a really good offer in - you’d think the CEO would want the first coin - there will be 9 others for collectors to scrabble over…. GLA

With gold we have an ocean of possibilities - we just need to get it up, surely they are now focusing on where the best grades are likely to be & not just blindly working through 300 tonnes of material… Alba always seem to react to what’s occurred whilst not very good at foresight/pre-planning, they learn albeit slowly & costly (to us)….

I suspect Clogau Jewellery has offered George signifiant money for gold, we may need that in the short term until making our own high end luxury jewellery - let’s not cut of our nose…… Fact it’s rare to find & used by Royalty is why it fetches a premium like a luxury handbag or luggage…. GLA

Seems they’ve been advised to sell the coins individually to increase their exclusivity…. I’d hope by time others are sold we’ll have the full 10…. GLA

Hard for us long termers who bought too early but bargain basement price for newbies or people looking to average down from here.

I’ll tell you why coz you’ve sold at a loss & are bitter so you want to hurt the company - we’ve all been there mate, my advice, move on - you’ve sold so there’s no reason to be here as no longer invested….. it will just poison you!

Spot gold about to break 3000

We need some good news that’s for sure - PR has always been Albas downfall that & lack of communication….

I thought there was 500 tonnes - 300 blasted & 200 historical floor sweepings?

To be fair we have only just started sampling - 11 tonnes out of a potential of 500 plus the waste tips - we know the gold is sporadic in nature plus we still have nearly 30% of GROC - Gold is forecast to continue its rise…. Still too early to call here… That said it’s disappointing there’s been no news on coins auction, it’s as if Alba enjoys torturing its shareholders, we need good PR & gold that’s all GF & the share price will rise!

@ocelot, just because they cleared the sweepings doesn’t mean they have to process them at great cost - store them for later….

What I don’t understand is knowing the share price, sentiment & financials are poor why didn’t the company prioritise the high gold targets (why sift through floor sweepings for 1g per tonne, just sit on them for now & go where the vein is)….

Anybody any ideas?

If only somebody with deep pockets would buy us out - we’ve been raised to oblivion..

@jeremiah - also I think people are surprised the processing m/c has been upgraded meaning quicker turnaround times plus there’s the easy 3g per tonne from waste trench between any blasting etc

Why don’t Alba prioritise the rock thats most likely to contain gold instead of floor sweepings & background stuff - we need confidence & money…..

Seems like market thinks we’ve hit the bottom let’s hope it’s onwards & upwards now eh - wouldn’t be surprised to get RNS tomorrow on medals.
