Hi, first time poster on this board having 'luckily' just purchased Gall Try shares only a couple of days ago! Decision was based on potential uplift at some point and dividend, but honestly did not expect this. So, I have read the RNS but can someone far more knowledgeable than I try and explain more basically what we can expect here......0.57 of a Bovis share for each Gall Try share we own, get that, what about our Gall Try shares, are they retained as is........? What am I missing, seems too good, would really help if someone could explain using numbers ie if you own 500 Gall Try shares this is what you can expect.......really appreciate any advice and help please. Thank you

Held up well considering, I guess the news was expected at some point, just the amount which was in question. However it is now at an end and once cleared up we should see an improvement in profitability. Many people were suckered in by the suggestion to just get a claim in no matter what before the 29th August, I genuinely believe that a higher % of these late claims will be without merit so am reasonably happy that the monies put aside will more than cover the costs and we may, I say may, see some come back our way in terms of dividend or buyback. I would imagine Lloyds would be keen to sweeten the dividend as they go quarterly, I maybe wrong.

Anyway, looks like a lot of the bad news is factored into the SP for now, just Brexit to navigate - if we leave with no deal I believe after an initial 'shock' reduction we will bounce back relatively quickly and build based on fundamentals, if we get a deal of some kind then we could see a sharp jump back to the 60s and above before year end.

Either way the dividend looks as safe as any out there so I am happy to wait, may even look to add if we dip sharply on no deal, there could be a great buying opportunity there for a few weeks.

yes, you are probably right Faze1, just a bit over committed on the share based on my usual investment strategy, would be breaking my own 'rules' - but tempted

jumps quick this baby, sadly I am still at a small loss based on my average but looks like very shortly this could get into profit for me, already more heavily invested than I like for a single share but so tempted to top up.....aarrgghh, what to do!

chrishutch - appreciate what you are saying, but the news, though welcome and encouraging, is really just good marketing statements at present, real news is required where we learn of some nice big deals with large corporations.

Don't get me wrong, I am a LTH with a good amount in here averaging 1.5p and I am happy, GB is very good at the 'spin stuff' and keeping the Integumen name in the news, we need to see something more substantial for this share to move onwards and upwards with some gusto.

At present, and I have said it before, it currently seems destined for the 1.5-2.0p range which it has occupied for a while. I mentioned previously about this pattern and how I could have significantly increased my holding had I had the ba**s to trade, however I am fearful of missing the big rise which could happen at any time.

As many have said on here, this has to be a hold and wait, and perhaps accumulate below 2p depending on circumstances.

I did eventually find the results thank you, I was particularly interested in the ML numbers to see how 'easily' he was re-elected, there were quite a few votes against as you will have seen, but clearly he had the support of the big boys (or big boy) for reasons I am sure we are not even privy too. Perhaps a good thing ultimately, I know there was a few people on here against his re election but that mood appeared to change as we got closer to the meeting and other thoughts and ideas materialised ........enjoy your day!

Interesting reading on here and like many of you I have been in a while and remain a holder, although I have to confess to the odd twitch in recent days, but still not sold any.

The Health sector mention has to be significant surely, I thought it at the time, I see that many are still mentioning Coeur Gold, but surely that was a 'message' to shareholders - why state it otherwise, there was absolutely no need whatsoever, I was surprised it was so overt to be honest, it would be totally misleading if that were not the 'preferred' and likely course of action and I see no reason why that would be done.

So the question remains as to what that may be, there was some discussion going back a few weeks on possible targets but has anyone managed to find out anything new in that regard?

Have been in and out of this a few times in last year, am currently out having made a little on previous rise, was going to buy back in when it went back to 1.22 but didn't and watched annoyed with myself as it climbed back up to 1.50+

I think this reaction is a bit overdone to be honest, new MD (a very bright guy if a bit of a curved ball for this industry) will undoubtedly have wanted to play it down and re set the accounts to make sure he is in the best position to demonstrate his personal impact in the months to come. Appear to be expanding the Brunning & Price brand a little too and they are pretty good places to be fair.

Personally think this may drift a bit lower in next few days but do expect it to rise again in months ahead and the divi is pretty reasonable (not forgetting the 25% vouchers you get for money off food and drink!).

I could be tempted back in when it goes sub 1.30

it is still only 14p, I am a LTH, been here since MXO and consolidation so lets remember that it was 40p not so long ago, however I remain a holder, optimistic and reasonably happy..................

might not be many people, maybe a few people with lots of smaller trades - less obvious that way of course

yes thank you tradeemup, I was questioning the point raised by ATISHA regarding the 32.5p, I recognised that it is indeed the highest price paid by the offeror. Question is what is that......I suspect 15p seeing as they went from zero to 30%+ so quickly.

Nothing to say that the 4 parties are not acting in concert, together they own just over 50% of the shares. Appreciate your point on the TO panel, not something I was aware of but will look into that, would seem odd though, they didn't just 'accidently' flip over into it as part of the subscription, more like they used it to get to that position.

All things considered it still feels odd that there is such inactivity here, there is something we are missing I am sure of it

Absolutely right. I mentioned a few weeks ago on here that whilst I am a LTH and have not sold at any point, there is certainly an opportunity here to trade in the 1.5-2.0 range. Trading is always risky and I don't want to miss a big rise so refrain from doing it, but having watched this share for a number of months I could have significantly increased my already large holding (for me), if I had had the ba**s to trade it between these levels. I suspect it will rise close to 2p again in the weeks ahead, just unsure whether it will then drop to 1.5-1.6p again, but as I said it has done so several times in the last few months, maybe time to reconsider my strategy.......!

So we have someone who owns more than 30% of the business and therefore is required to make a cash offer....?

The highest price paid in the last 12 months is likely to be 15p (OO price)...?

Therefore that is the minimum offer which can be tabled....?

SP is currently 13.5p..........

or you could wait a little while and see if anyone counter offers, probably unlikely but nonetheless could happen. The £8.50 is pretty much in the bag so really depends how quickly you want / need the money..................
