Afternoon All
Certainly feels like exciting times and possibly the culmination of whatever is going to happen here with EUA.
I have been closely following the various online chats, and events look to be coming to some form of conclusion. I have to say I have been impressed how tight this ship has been and I am very intrigued by the events on Monday next week. For the life of me I cannot imagine EUA would entertain such a thing unless there was something to say/announce. We have heard nothing from them except through numerous RNS's for the best part of 2 years, yet now, after all we have learned about licences, JV arrangements, asset sale progress, 'buyers', possible dividends, JORC and the like, now, they decide to attend a large conference in Russia and pull out all the big guns.......
The RNS today was a formality I guess, very simply written, very matter of fact and giving nothing away, not really even a reference to the work going on in the background, it would have been an obvious time to update a little if it were felt necessary, but no, nothing. This tells me that bigger news is round the corner, I will be staggered if we don't here something more this week, I fully expect further RNS's as we go through the week to update us further and then allowing them the opportunity to properly engage in the conference on Monday - what can they possibly say if this is not the case, why come out now if negotiations are still required and no decisions have been taken?
Just my view to be fair when trying to think things through logically. I have not added recently (only due to lack of spare funds), last time was the drop to around 20p, holding strong and firm though, not selling a bean, never have. Just hoping that my other large investment company stays low once EUA comes good so I can top up there, suspect not though, envisaging a large transfer of funds to that particular company in due course......!
Thank you again to the GLTHs here who have battled through the noise and shenanigans of recent months - Ian, Tilly, GLG, CAW1, Mac4671, Saxonaxe, LovelyBoy and many others.
Best of luck to all.
GingerHippo - great post, and of course there was this from our Chairman CS in December 2019:
Christian Schaffalitzky, Chairman at Eurasia commented: 'We are pleased to offer this further update on the resource surrounding our Monchetundra Project. We are now well established in Kola with a production license valid until 2038 and our exclusivity to the flanks firmly established under applicable laws. We have always noted the significant potential in the area which we now more strongly believe can be developed into a new global mining region for PGM to rival other large PGM producing regions of the world, including the Bushveld Complex in South Africa and the Taimyr Peninsula in Russia.'
Not comments you make lightly or throw about in an RNS IMO, imagine the information he must to have to hand at that point to even suggest something like that? Remember that CS has been with Eurasia for nearly 20 years and he has a reputation to maintain and protect, this whole game plan has been years in the making, we have just got to wait and sit it out, frustrating as it may seem.
In until the end!
That assumes they only started DD at the time we were made aware, I suspect they had started way before that point.
Not bad news at all, imagine that it takes that long to do DD, just think about what that could mean about our assets!
This was always going to be a huge and complicated deal that was/is going to take time.
I have waited this long, and I am going nowhere!
Happy for the update, may be a message for others to hurry up, maybe just to try and arrest any further SP decline. BOD must be pretty frustrated we are here beating in mind the previous message about the II buy at 26.5p.
GLA
JJNorton - totally agree with all you said, many people here seem to assume that any announcement is totally within the gift of the BOD, in reality this is wholly unlikely. I and many others here believe that there are a number of parties involved in whatever is going to happen and as such any or all of them could delay things at certain junctures.
I am sure the BOD believe it to be shortly, and indeed want and expect it to be so, but it is perhaps most likely not just up to them.
Still here, still reading daily, still getting disappointed with the disruptors, filling my filter bin, but still enjoying the postings from the 'old guard' - Tilly, Ian, Mac, GLG and the like, all have much more patience than I with the hateful botflies.......!
Not added recently (last couple of weeks), but holding firm on every share I have ever purchased which is now 4X what it was pre suspension.....! Average is obviously up, but still in mid teens so very happy with that position.
GLA
Not posted in a while but reading several times a day still.....!
Anyway just a few thoughts:
1. Logically I cannot fathom how the BOD would manage to get US investors to stump up large amounts of cash and then send out that message about placing price if they didn't know that the SP was worth some way north of that figure. We now know for sure if we didn't already that there is a significant amount of information in the hands of the Board re resources, JORC and licences etc that they knew about in some detail when this 'deal' was struck. So IMO, investing at current level in and around 26p is an absolute no brainer, the only concern for some could understandably be timings, we know not when we will realise our assets but it will be for a figure north of where we are now thats for sure!
2. It has seemed to me for some while that the BOD are acutely aware of PI questions, comments and concerns, they are reviewing them for sure and in their own way they attempt to clarify and answer within the RNS's, this has been evident again with the interims yesterday.
3. There were some interesting points in the RNS yesterday, many, if not all, have been highlighted but worth another look -
"Globally significant battery metals and PGM district.............positioning Eurasia among majors"
"Wardell Armstrong International engaged in April for several comprehensive tasks including JORC resource audits which are almost complete and are expected to be announced shortly"
"additional interest from other parties is being considered by the Board" - possible bidding war as suggested by GMF78 recently, they were telling us this is correct
"Eurasia's representative office in Japan was established" - interesting that this highlighted early on in the note, we had not heard much recently, but IMO clearly a key element of whatever deal is going to happen
Let's not forget........"Konstantin Firstov joined Eurasia as CEO of our Kola operations from a Managing Director position in Rosgeo" - he perhaps knows more than anyone else about the opportunity here and he joined the BOD.........!
"We have attracted top talent and top tier partners and advisers to prioritise and execute our strategy" - reaffirming for us the PI view that we have the best of the best operating here to bring the deal home
"In September we cut back to $15m from a larger proposal made by a consortium of US professional institutional investors" - just reminding us that they have this, we only need what we need!
Just a waiting game for us, it was a super RNS IMO, a few new insights but reaffirming that much of what has been discussed here and elsewhere is right on the money.
In until the end!
Absolutely James0309,
Further 'evidence' that, as I believe, the account is genuinely DS, I know there have been doubters, and therefore IMO his activity, in terms of what is tweeted and retweeted, should be carefully monitored, viewed and considered.
Just my view, others may say I should not read too much into it, but why wouldn't you??
Afternoon all,
Just checking in, not posted for a long while but I do continue to read daily, such a shame the BB has been infested by a number of rather dubious individuals with negative agendas. Great to see the true LTHs standing firm and I appreciate the posts from Tilly, JT, Ian and many others who post regularly.
I was away with work last week but noted some debate about EM_Investor on Twitter. I have been following him now for some time now and in my opinion it is most certainly a genuine account, it goes back a long time and from the comments and interactions available to see I am sure it is him, if it were not then I am convinced that by now it would have been reported and deleted.
He tweets and retweets a lot about hydrogen but he is clearly very careful about what he does and does not 'retweet' or 'like' as one would expect bearing in ind the current situation.
I genuinely believe he sees this as an opportunity to communicate with investors without compromising himself or any NDAs.
A recent retweet I found particularly interesting, amongst all the negativity and falling share price, was that he chose to retweet a couple of messages from GMF78 (17th & 18th August) regarding funds and Directors not selling any shares 'amongst all the gloom' - I read that very positively, I am heavily invested and added last week at 16.8p.
I am most definitely in until the end.
GLA and have a great weekend.
Said it at the time and I still believe it to be true, that he never really ‘sold’ them at all.
I didn’t buy the cash call story, it’s a great excuse because it cannot really be challenged and it gave the BOD something to say which sort of killed the situation off.
I am convinced it was a tax efficient transaction, why wouldn’t he, most of us on here have done exactly the same.
Still in until the end!

Quite right to remind everyone of that, for me it was key, arguably an 'unnecessary' inclusion, but it was included.
It tells me that the Board are clearly aware of the support from their investors, it says to me that they are aware it is taking time, they know what is being said across various BB and social media sites, they know that the troops were rallied to support them, DS follows a number of individuals who post regularly on Telegram and Twitter and has even retweeted them.
With all that said, they "look forward to progressing the strategy as announced" - personally I am very happy with that.
Ladderr
There is a very good reason for that.
Over recent times particularly threads have been infested by 'trouble makers' who appear to deliberately create angst and arguments. At some point these posts get reported then the ENTIRE thread gets removed, I have a lot of posts removed just because they were part of a thread which was ultimately removed - very frustrating and IMO quite deliberate on the part of those involved.
Creating a new thread to respond, whilst possibly frustrating for some, is a way to try and protect one's comments a little.
Anyway, that is why I have most recently started doing it.
Excellent post, best I have seen for a while and could not agree more.
The outcome of the vote was the only thing we were likely to hear yesterday and that obviously went the way most of us wanted.
But I thought the RNS wording was most interesting and insightful, specifically thanking members and then stating:
"The Board wishes to thank its members for getting votes cast for this Meeting and for the support evidenced to the Board. We look forward to progressing our strategy as announced."
They were acknowledging the support in 'rallying' the votes across BB's and social media, they were acknowledging that they are aware of what is being said by investors, I appreciate it easy to read too much into some things but IMO this was a clear message to all that plans are moving forward and they know that they need to update as soon as they are able.
I trust them to do that, nothing, absolutely nothing they have done to date suggests I should not. Frustrating it may be but this is huge and Danesca is right, in the scheme of what could be happening here, it should not be a surprise that it has taken this long.
I don't really understand people who state that the company should put out an RNS regarding the decline in SP, I am not sure they are really able to, it certainly is not something which happens often from what I can see.
Yesterdays RNS was about as much as you could get IMO, they simply could not put out something like "we don't know why the share price of the company has declined" and leave it at that, it would by it's very nature require the business to highlight in some detail why they felt the decline was inappropriate and unworthy, if you look at where other businesses have delivered such an RNS that is what they have done, perhaps the BOD are not in a position to offer such detail at this critical time, we are in a sale negotiation after all.
The message yesterday was about as much as they could do, it was a little unexpected and dressed up as answers to share holder questions, I think they have done it pretty cleverly TBH.
GLG, fair points and I completely understand and have some empathy for your views.
You may have already mentioned it and I missed it, but interested to understand if the RNS yesterday went someway to allay your frustrations, it felt to me that the BOD went as far as they could to address some of the 'concerns' expressed by share holders and personally I thought it was helpful and very positive. As always with these things you have to 'read between the lines' a little like it or not.
Just wanted to make a couple of points on this:
1. In terms of the possible dividend amount, I see a few figures being posted here, what people should consider is if we get to that point it would most likely be because in excess of 75% of the company's assets have been sold, I think most on here will agree that this will at least include MT, in which case it is unlikely to be in the 4p area..........! I personally do not believe that the current SP will dictate any dividend, far more likely that the ultimate sale price will do that once fees, taxes and any funds are retained for future development. I am confident and optimistic.
2. I see a few people questioning the dividend date, Frances on Twitter even suggested it could be back dated to pre suspension (I really have no idea where she gets it from). There is no way the dividend date will be set historically, it will most likely be set on the day prior to the actual sale announcement. How on earth would it be possible to identify anybody who had sold 3,6,8 weeks ago.....? It just can't work that way, so to be clear for those who are unsure, anyone holding at the time of the announcement will qualify for any dividend payment - same as any other business.
In terms of the announcement yesterday, it came as a bit of a surprise, in a previous post I had suggested that I thought the BOD may put something out to try and ensure the votes went their way, but in all honesty I thought that moment had gone and was not expecting what we had. I have to say it was exceptionally positive IMO, the answers to the questions were everything we could have hoped for and confirm that the potential sale is still on, that the intention is to pay a dividend and the desire is to not unnecessarily dilute SH - the double mention of themselves as major stakeholders was a key point and positioned there to really drum that message home to everyone. I was very pleased with it having earlier added yet again to my position.........GLA and as always 'in until the end'

I think you will find that there are quite a number of LTHs on here who most certainly did not consider MontyBoz / Rowka and Lucretius as 'gods of the BB' - in fact quite the opposite, many here challenged their views and their credibility on multiple occasions.
I accept that Rowka introduced a lot of very interesting information, most with little or no real context, but I for one received a rather aggressive and unnecessary post from him when I politely asked him questions regarding his experience in this field.
Correct, they used the word 'significant' - however the mining expert at the company's own NOMAD did use the term 'massive' - on that basis it is reasonable for people to refer to that on here, admittedly he did 'retract' the word immediately after saying it, but he was extremely bullish and I would recommend people listen to it themselves to draw their own conclusions if they have not already.
That's that then.
Darien
Welcome to the BB, IMO however you are talking absolute rubbish, I cannot understand why people think they can pop on here, out of the blue, hardly ever, if ever, having been here before and write such absolute, ill informed and ridiculous things.
Have you researched EUA in any way, what is your basis for saying that it is fully valued, where are the numbers, where are your workings, what valuation basis did you use, have you tried various methods in reaching your detailed and informed decision..........beggars belief it really does.
Sorry everyone else, just bugs the **** out of me.
26th October 2018 - share price was 0.00395..............

"I'm in for an average of about 0.60 i think . The granting of the license should see it spike , at least for a day. Think last time it went above 1p with the last license being signed off. Anything around 1p and I am out of here, will never look at EUA again.
Ideally the license is signed and then we are sold, that should get everyone a decent return."
I corrected a number of grammatical errors.
Anyway, you appear to be back?
Seriously getting frustrated reading the board today, after a couple of days of relative peace and some reasonable posts, we get a very good RNS and suddenly all the crazy people come out.
"Board have no strategy and are flip flopping around" - what an absolutely ridiculous and ill informed post, read the RNS's for the last 5 years and then have a good long look in the mirror!
"No mention of the dividend" - so? the RNS was to update us on the Rosgeo JV, it was not to do with any dividend previously announced, they don't have to reference it in every news release going forward for goodness sake!
"No mention of the sale" - READ the RNS slowly and carefully, they did reference the sale, in fact they did more than that, they informed us that it is 'progressing' - people just need to read things properly!
Right, now that is off my chest I will go and do something useful.
Ridemasif
Obvious agenda and clearly a new moniker, who were you previously?
Great news, good to see progress so quickly, very happy with that.
Why on earth would they mention a dividend in this RNS you absolute fool.
