No need to delay to include something you’re waiting for, you can always add a forward looking statement like they did for EU deal in December 2020.

It means if no update you can just take it as no sales.

IMHO - I have strong feeling that DB would delay TU unless there are some numbers to report.

It is unfortunate that delta variant cases are rising.
Most governments are prepared and got deals with their current suppliers to handle the extra capacity.
We need to sing a deal to supply our pcr tests until then this would not help our SP.
we are in pandemic for 18 months and haven’t sold anything till date and DB gives all sorts of excuses. Hope we sell something at least now..
which ever the EU country DB is dealing with looks like our gov promise to buy UK test instead of Chinese…

1. Our product must be outstanding and not possible to replicate.
2. The company beleived that covid is not long term thing when they made colloboration decision. (posible takeover when they think so and see considerable revenue from it in long term)

Keeping takeover rumours aside but one thing is for sure that our covid pcr test got to be really special one.
Otherwise why would a company of beckman coulter size would be intersted in us, they could easily develop PCR covid test of their own given the money, resources and expertise they have. There are thoundsands of diagnostics firms who developed a covid pcr test .

This could be only 2 reasons:

We had revenue of 1m for the year ending June 2020.
For this year we already made 0.4m in H1, so we just need atleast 0.6m in H2 to be same as last year. I hope BC are selling in back ground. I think we can't be worse than our previous year bcos covid presented a great opportunity for us.
Last thing i dont want DB is to delay trading update.

Most of the investors including myself are looking forward for trading update, Hope DB doesn’t disappoint us again.

Realistically the company should be around 100m mcap even without sales because the product portfolio is worth a lot as most of them are in commercialised state and waiting for first sales..

Jay - Swerves is worried because his £100 investment is at a loss.

IMHO - we saw our good days, now investors are waiting on sidelines because FDA is taking far too long and no meaning sales announced till date either from India or SA or Europe or from BC or the double digit EU deal.
As soon as we get significant sales or FDA EUA and the company starts becoming profitable our MCAP would be many multiples of now. But it is not easy as said and always has risk and it is our cash position and our burn rate of 400k a month.

Some keep ramping despite of numerous failures from DB and no justification for his pay. They just trying to protect their investment and little they know is it would make no difference to share price. The only thing that would move the SP is real sales and revenue.

I hope so and that would really help mcap to climb back to where it belongs

IMHO - sentiment is quite low at the moment, not just GDR it is across the most covid stocks. The only driver from here on is the sales and revenue which is a good thing for all LTH’s who love SP grow with fundamentals and not speculations.

Any decent numbers in trading update would push SP nicely and restore some confidence in shareholders and attract new investors.

I’m hoping there would some sales but not significant otherwise it would have been RNSed by now. Let’s wait and see what DB is upto.

IMHO - There is still element of risk, investors who bought into y’day and the ones still holding are of the view that we would make some revenue from covid tests till we get FDA EUA or POC is launched.
Otherwise fund raise or CLN is needed to keep the lights on which would kill SP.

Biggest surprise for me till date is why Budd choose the start covid PCR assay first and later at the end of 2020 we started working on POC. Being a point of care diagnostics company we should have focussed on POC first.
May be greed (like us PI) to sell millions of tests to BC, but FDA put spanner into his hopes.

Let’s wait and see what DB surprise DB has got for us holders in next RNS.. hope It has some decent sales and revenue to coast us till our POC launch.
