Thank you for letting me know your position. I am taking it all in. Yes I am a little disappointed with the rise. It has been higher on no news. I guess people are more cautious now after the highs and lows of previous. Still haven’t decided what to do..typically two shares need attention today (in Novacyt too) and I am not feeling very decisive or certain on either. Hoping hearing different peoples opinion will help me to take make a call. Thank you.

Thank you. It’s a tricky share. I think I will follow that advice as momentum re Covid will hopefully reduce by Summer. It’s not rocketing as I had hoped based on the BBC news.

Very exciting news re Synairgen. This was one of my first investments and I have held on for a long time. If anybody else is in this share and can offer advice on strategies re selling and predictions. I realise this is all personal to individuals but any advice based on your experiences would be gratefully received! Good luck.

Well done! I went to rebuy Valneva this morning as instinctively I knew I shouldn’t have sold. I did the research and I was excited about the vaccine it was offering based on recent mutations. I imagine a large pharma is in the process of buying them!! What’s your thoughts? I rang Hargreaves who said it could be suspended for weeks. Pls let me know when it’s activated again. I am going to hold Maravai life and not be impatient. All the vaccines will need what they produce..surely it has to rise above previous values?! Patience! I am slowly learning but costly mistakes. Missing out on Valneva has made me really cross with myself! Thank you for your advice I am listening and taking on board.

Thank you for your advice. I realise I am either too impatient or too patient and hold shares that I have become “attached” too and struggle to let go even when they are clearly heading down further. Well done on Valneva you timed it impeccably! As I left you jumped in..as I said I am completely out of kilt. I hope I have managed to get my timings better with maravai life sciences. I bought on the 5th Jan. if you get chance to take a glance could you let me know if you would have bought or would you have waited? Just trying to gauge if I am getting a better idea! Once again thank you for your advice.

I bought RMS on the 30th Dec and sold on the 5th Jan. I am a small investor but I made a good profit so thank you for the tip. Then i was so excited by the whole RMS ride I jumped back in at 3! As they say it’s about the journey sometimes and not the destination. Looking forward to next week.

My share choices generally appear ok but my timings are not so great. I feel “out of rhythm” with the markets. How do I educate myself to know the patterns? Is it just experience? In which case this could be a costly new vocation as I have limited experience.Logically things don’t seem to do what I expect when I expect.For example I read in the FT about a shortage in sourcing items ranging from DNA molecules to lipid nanoparticles — it noted the companies and although they weren’t listed themselves they were part of a larger company and so I invested in MRVI. To me it seems an obvious investment but it’s barely moved. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for remembering and messaging me. I appreciate that. I may have made a mistake already though. I jumped into Valneva on the 4th then saw IP Group continuing to climb today so sold Valneva to add more to IP. On reflection I should have just added more monies to my portfolio but as a newbie I was feeling a bit out of my depths. I feel certain Valneva will climb but wondered if it’s still a bit early and my monies could make more elsewhere in the interim. I will consider everything again tmrrw. Once again thank you. Good luck with your investments. I am following you all carefully and trying to learn what I can.

Do you mind me asking have you invested? What’s your thoughts?

Referring back to previous messages on renewable energy. It may be worth looking at pineapple power. It’s an acquisition company. It’s only recently listed and seems to be covering a lot of the renewables that have been discussed. I would welcome any thoughts on this as I haven’t invested as yet. Happy New Year to you all!

Hope you are all well. I wonder if anybody can help. I am trying to work out my average share price but because I have bought shares over different periods I don’t know how to work out my average. I guess it’s a weighted average. Is there a site or an online calculator that can work it out? I love this share but bought a bit high and probably need to bring down my average price whilst I still can.

Thank you for that information. I read the Bloomberg “worrisome virus variant”. I am new to trading and want to buy more Valneva with the listing situation and in your opinion would you wait? Hope you don’t mind me asking.
