Thank you for your reply. I sold quite a lot of non Covid related that had profit. I bought a few shares recently which have news due which I left. With some of the profit I topped up my Covid shares. I am thinking I may sell more on Monday.

I feel like I have probably been a bit premature but I jumped out of quite a few shares today. I can’t work out the UK Covid recovery element versus the impending prospect of a third Covid wave in Europe. I sold all my Lloyds shares this morning which was probably a bit too hasty! Any thoughts welcome. Are you all changing the type of shares you are buying etc.

Any thoughts on Tern? It’s dropping this morning. Do you think the deal secured by Microsoft yesterday was the deal rumoured about with Tern? Any thoughts welcome.

In answer to my own question..the stabilisation RNS had little impact.

What do you think the stabilisation notice will take the share price to?

Thank you. I bought too. I get the impression you like pharma and bio shares. I closely follow maravai life science and retractable technologies. I have started to see the pattern they follow. Thank you for replying.

Great morning in fact! Not sure who else bought AMTE?! Up 16 per cent today. Did anybody trade Premier African minerals after my last messages?I traded three times in the end. I have stopped now! I have also bought FIXP as a bit of a punt. It’s a Russian discount retailer. The largest Russian IPO on lse and second biggest IPO ever by any retailer. I have watched it since IPO and bought in today when I saw RNS re founder buying in. A bit complex in that it’s Russian traded in dollars and not available on platforms that I have but eventually I bought this morning. Just thought I would share some research.

Is anybody watching premier african minerals? I have been in this share for a long time. Worth going in now? Food for thought. RNS this morning.

Please can you stop being unkind. Everybody on this forum accepts everybody for who they are and makes their own judgements. I would like it very much if you could try and only make positive comments because when I read your negative comments it makes me feel unnecessarily disappointed.

Not on HL yet and that’s my only trading platform..argh!

I noticed my choices for the month wasn’t on the list you sent Eva. No worries if you didn’t see them on the posts. They were Copl,SNG,GDR.
My long term choices are:
Norwegian cruise liners (NCLH) 28.85 USD
I wanted to invest in cruise liners in anticipation of covid restrictions lifting. At the point I bought Norwegian it looked technically better than its peers.
Maravai life science MRVI 35.59 USD. Maravai is responsible for lipid nanoparticles for mRNA vaccines. There is a shortage of these supplies. Guessing shortage means a price premium!
Bumble BMBL 61.65 USD this share has dropped since IPO but I think it has a unique concept amd once covid restrictions are lifted I thinking dating app shares will rise.
Synairgen. SNG. I think everybody on the forum knows about this share! I have been in this since the beginning of Covid and I truly believe it holds the best treatment for respiratory viruses..present and future.
IP Group. IPO. IP Group in my opinion holds a great mix of investments in tech, healthcare and biotech. This share rose when Covid was at its peak (holds lateral flow test investment) and rose with Covid recovery. It had suffered a little the last few days with tech sell off but I think it has longevity.
Sorry I can’t give more technical details..my selections are a little more Mystic Meg!

Thank you for your advise. It’s all going in. This is a balancing act. I nearly jumped out of Lloyds at 40 but I think I will wait a bit longer and see what happens. I guess at the moment “if in doubt do nought!” I have held premier African minerals for over a year and at last I see blue! I only hold African, Bushveld and Copl currently. I am just going to sit and wait to see what happens.

Thank you for your posts they have helped to consolidate my thoughts. I had already started looking at lithium, copper and nickel. I am not overly familiar with miners so would be greatful for some stocks to research in these areas. I think I will wait to buy the unloved stocks..I started buying with Scottish and I caught the falling knife! In your opinions do you think it will go into the 9s? I am hoping the last three weeks of selling is coming to an end? I was concerned by IP but not so much now as it has a lot of great pharmaceutical shares. BOJO you are right I need to not follow sentiment so much and stick to my own research. That’s a confidence issue on my part as I am so new to investing. Any books/websites either of you recommend I am keen to listen, read and understand. Once again, thank you.
