IP Group released a positive RNS this morning. Worth a read. IP holds a great portfolio abs is definitely worth a look. I figure on the run up to Oxford Nanopore listing there will be a natural upward rise for IP Group..any thoughts?

I am keen to learn about technical analysis for share dealing. I am doing ok but it feels too much like a lottery based on hunches and research. As I am increasing my investments hunches/research is too risky going forward. . I would like to learn how to read the charts accurately. Any advice where to start reading/learning? Thank you.

Did you pick up more shares today in Valneva. I checked there was no obvious news why it is still dropping. I will buy more tmrrw if it continues to decline but just wanted to check if I had missed anything I should be aware of. I hope you don’t mind me asking. Thank you.

Any thoughts on Tern? Do you think it was oversold today or is the consensus that this share has had its moment for now? I decided to get out completely as I had a good profit and didn’t want to lose it. I am contemplating getting back in tmrrw. Xviolet I wish I had bought SNG and CBX at the current price. Its going to take spectacular results for me to be able to sell!

Thank you for the link. I saw the 5 year price on Google share price and that encouraged me to re invest. To be honest I am just pleased to be exited about a share the rest of my portfolio is looking a little bleak! Have a great weekend.

I have to laugh. I spent hours procrastinating re buying Tern in my fund/share account. I eventually dealt at 27.8. Deep down I knew it would drop on the 1630 bell and of course the inevitable happened. What’s your thoughts about Monday? Are you thinking more profit takers or another steady gain? This is a lottery!!! My only blessing is my ISA Tern investment!

Feeling a bit reckless myself. Must be something in the water! My past experience is just as I buy it will probably drop. I just feel this has easy 40 in it..keeping going to deal then changing my mind.

The good news is I forgot I had tern in my ISA as well as my fund/share account. I am 76 per cent up in that. I have to say I am thinking to add it back into my fund/share account in a minute or do you think it’s too risky now. My instinct is saying this will carry on tmrrw..any thoughts?

I came out of Tern today as I had made 80 per cent profit. I am now doubting my decision as I just think Term is a special share and I should have stayed put. What’s your thoughts on this? I would appreciate any advice.

Heads up to those investors in rapid tests. It would appear BA is conducting rapid tests with a Pelican Covid 19 test from Canary Global. I see no way of investing in Pelican but I wonder whether this news will have an impact on some of the other rapid tests like Avacta. Just thought I would give the heads up as I think some of the rapid tests were hoping for airline contracts etc.

Thank you. I am going to hold onto Synairgen for now but would be grateful if you can keep me updated with your plans which helps to consolidate my thoughts. I have had a bad run due to Synairgen and CBX. Frustratingly I tried to get out of CBX when I was 33 per cent up but Hargreaves wouldn’t let me sell. It’s seems to take a lot longer to make a small profit than it does to see a huge loss! Currently stopped buying till I see some positivity on my current holdings...thank you as always.

I welcome some advice and hope fellow share Valletta’s can help. I naively have 20 per cent of my portfolio in Synairgen at an average of 190 a share. I recognise that I have became too attached to Synairgen and now I am having doubts at a time I am facing my largest loss if this share continues to plummet. I am disappointed as I have loved dealing and now I am having doubts about my ability. I would just like to hear what you guys have been doing or intend to do going forward. I thought to bring down my average but I am not comfortable with more monies in Synairgen currently. Frustratingly Synairgen was one of my first ever investments. I have a tendency to go back into shares I am familiar with..generally speaking this appears to be a mistake for me. Any thoughts /advice really welcome. Thank you

TSM Taiwan semi conductor. I figure car semi conductors are in such short supply.
Maravai life sciences (MRVI)with increased orders for Lipids for vaccines and results due which hopefully will reflect this demand.
Of course I will probably be wrong on all of the above as logic does not always prevail!
