If, say in a years time, Clon had been ratified, farmed in a major and moved on through the exploration/investigation process and announce a proven discovery, what then? Or would they be taken over before this? Maybe some of the more experienced/knowledgeable peeps here could speculate and help us novices understand the possibilities? :)

Yes, I have noticed how this share moves large and fast at the drop of a hat. That for me is one of the most exciting things about this considering what the stakes are too! I have seen plenty other shares with far more risk diluted with too many shares in issue; this one is definitely different in my book! The risk in this share, as you say fingers, is not being in it when news drops GLA :)

IMO these things always slide back if no further news is forthcoming and the share option thing is incidental too...if it slides down a bit more I will be seeing what spare cash I can glean from elsewhere. This is by far the best opportunity I am aware of at the moment!

Yeah, thank you both. As he said "decent interest from a potential major (whom they have had talks with in the past) are waiting for the assurance that ratification brings before farming in. He used the term "major partner".

My take on the BOD decision on the share options is this: they must be anticipating ratification very soon. If it was a move linked to an MOU it would look too obvious as this is something they themselves would initiate. The ratification process though is out of their hands so there could be no question of impropriety IMO. Yes, indeed, I think our time has come!! GLA

We have heard much chat about a forthcoming MOU. Are we to assume that a gentleman's agreement may be in place already? I know there was mention from the BOD that they had been in talks with some partners. Presumably this is what has given rise to speculation about an approaching MOU. Or is there other evidence?

Am I right in saying that this will create added incentive to the board now having a clear vested interest in the company doing well?

I fully agree Johny, 1p is very very realistic in the next few weeks without news but if the news you mention lands then yes, I recon we could match or surpass Petrol SP :)

I dare to dream! I have seen how fast this share can and does rise on very small hints of news. That estimate of 2p is very probably going to happen very quickly on any hint of good news. I don't want to seem like I am ramping but if the claim gets ratified then I think we are talking life changing amounts! Bearing in mind though that what could happen is dependent on the deal Clon have done in saying that "all legal disputes have been resolved" which still remains to be seen. Either way, IMHO, I think 2p is a worst case scenario on any ood news :)

Its mind blowing isn't it? I have always felt that this share would eventually come good ever since the new Ghanaian government was elected and started talking about fair play and transparency. However, I still had as many doubts which all crept in through the silence from Clon and Ghana alike. My confidence returned a good bit when the RNS came through saying that all legal disputes were resolved to Clon's satisfaction. After this latest RNS and subsequent interview with our CEO I have had a reality check and realise what the implications are here and I wouldn't want to be in any other share at the moment, that's for sure!! :)

IMO if the share hadn't went to 30% earlier today then most of us would have been delighted with the current 17% (or even less) rise. I have been sorely tempted in the past to sell when this share has risen but held off and I would now be regretting doing so if I did... I'm in this for the medium haul or longer if need be but I wont be selling till the fat lady sings ;)

There is a new pattern emerging since the RNS.I am quite happy for this to drop a wee bit and then sit for a spell before the next hint of anything at all makes it tick up a bit more. Barring extremely bad news, this is not going back down, it's two or 3 up and one down till news imo GLA ;)

Anyone who has been around for a while will have noticed how the SP is becoming more consistent with gradual (significant) rises. Since the RNS, delivered through the obvious delight of the CEO, things have changed from sharp rises followed by sharp drops to just sharp rises without the drops.IMO, peeps who have been on the side lines who will recognise that now is the time to get in before these rises take us into penny land!!

Just want to say to all those patient LTH I really hope this is truly "our time" and that we can soon raise a glass and say that all those years of ups and downs was worth sitting through!! ;)

Over at PET they are talking future SP at £8 a share!! even a quarter of that SP here at Clon would make me a multi millionaire lol GLA ;)
