I will add to my previous post since I have a few minutes to do so. There is very strong evidence that the oil is there in the Tano 2 block but Clon will need a major on-board because of the high cost in deep water drilling. Clon have in the past spoken to some Major companies regarding partnering but no-one will come in till ratification. The big majors don't sit and watch a company the way we do, they aren't interested in what might happen, even if it is 99.9% certain. They will simply say, come back once ratified. If Clon and partners prove the oil in the Tano basin it will be a pivotal moment in Ghanaian history as they will be catapulted onto the world stage along side major world oil producers , above even many member state's of OPEC.... IMO, this is serious stuff here and not just about any pump and dump we have witnessed in the past GLA & DYOR :)

IMHO based on previous form: if no news comes soon this will slowly drift as peeps take money out to invest in more imminent prospects. The thing with Clon is just how easily and quickly it can rise even with no news, so when news does come, and I firmly believe that will be very soon, then it will be interesting to see just how high it might go. Petrel went 2000% in no time at all and Clon, again IMO, has far more potential. Remember that Tano 2 is a potential multi-billion barrel oil prospect and Clon has a 60% stake in the company about to have their, Quote: "out of court settlement" ratified..... it might ebb and flow in the meantime, but the facts remain the same GLA & as always, DYOR :)

The following is a word for word account from David Horgan regarding the delay in ratification of the Tano 2 block (taken from the "Our time has come" video posted below) …..“We (Clon) had a signed petroleum agreement on the Tano 2 block since 2010. Under the previous administration there was an invitation to make a “contribution” which would breach our anti-bribery corruption policy, which we are very strict about. Following our failure to make such payments (bribes) an American company controlled by a Nigerian gentleman took part of the block and that was ratified through parliament. We (Clon) went to court and were successful in getting an injunction. Following that we had an “out of court settlement” with the Ghanaian authorities and that is now what we are seeking to implement”…..

....yes it's pretty clear from David Horgan's "our time has come" (see full interview link below) interview that Erin Energy were given a chunk of Clon's Tano area. The block was given to Clon by the present government administration, taken from them when the (corrupt) opposition took over. Clon disputed their claim through the courts and once the present administration was returned to power, as we know, "all legal matters were resolved to Clon's satisfaction". It's not rocket science what happened here, nor IMHO, what is about to happen. GLA :)

Confu has been absent from here for some time now. Sadly he doesn't seem to see anything except whatever will potentially destroy Mr Teeling. It's the kind of venom and bias that results from a deep wound so I wouldn't want to add to his hurt by being negative. I will say though that the sharp rise in the SP recently flies in the face of what he has been saying and predicting though for many months/years. Hope he can find some peace though I hate to see people suffer :(

If just a few weeks ago then just a short update needed. Others will add if need be. On the face of it it's all on the expectation of imminent ratification of the Tano block. Licenses for 4 blocks awarded between 2011 and 2016 are being withdrawn within 21 days, which are spent tomorrow, and Clon are expected to do well from that. Additionally, there are happenings over at PET (30% stake in Andean) which suggests that something is afoot in the background, maybe a merger or takeover. This is the second day of big rises and peeps are hopeful of a repeat of what happened at PET, i.e. huge rises. GL & dyor from here, if you think its about to take off then Bob's your uncle :)

Erin Energy is getting dumped out, Clon awarded rest of block along with Ghanian oil company prior to ratification. Dont forget the RNS from January 2019 ...."The Directors of Clontarf (AIM: CLON) are pleased to announce that the Company has appointed, with immediate effect, Strand Hanson Limited as the Company's Nominated & Financial Adviser."..... You can bet they haven't been sitting on their hands in the meantime :)

....are we to understand that Erin Energy (whom Clon were in legal dispute with and which has now been resolved to Clons satisfaction) are one of the four under the 21 days notice to be kicked out? If so it then surely the thing that has satisfied Clon legally is that the "Erin Energy Block" will be returned to Clon. And again, if so, put your seat belts on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I don't disagree with that Zzippy and what I said doesn't (certainly not intentionally) negate the prospect of top slicing. On the contrary, I would expect people to be doing so, I certainly have, then jump back in when it falls. I thought that was what we were all doing! I would have expected the more savvy on here to now be riding on free money but it doesn't change the fact that this share has a very high potential as a multi-bagger! Happy profits to you:)

No matter what anyone says about how long we have been waiting on news etc. there can be no doubting that this share is different from the others inthat it rises fast and furious on a whim, the potential to get ratification (or at least a deal done) on a huge asset is very high if not somewhat inevitable, the CEO who rarely gives much away has said that we have reached the top of a steep climb and are about to go over the top and enter a snowball type momentum phase. IMHO this is the most exciting prospect you will find today on AIM! GLA & DYOR :)

Andre, do you have an alternative example we could use to model Clon on? would appreciate any comparisons you have experience with :)
