If a judge can sanction and insist on Hope being paid off rather than Hope having to agree to it then that would make things much less daunting. This is what I wrote earlier : if Stephen Hope or anybody connected to him were to have shorted then they are actually in a position now that makes it impossible to accept a pay off because the pay off is most likely only going to lower their debt when their shorts are fried. If that is the case it means that they must insist on the legal issue of the default being followed through to the collapse of the company. This is a real concern and makes the decision to not pay the 2m inexplicable UNLESS there is a jail time email lurking somewhere. IMO.

IF the 5 million man has any connection to Stephen Hope then there is only a courtroom way out of this. I've read people's suggestions to pay off Hope but IF he shorted he needs the company finished - there would be no middle ground available.

You've raised a good point. Something strange is going on here but a change of lawyers is interesting focused on financial settlements. The other interesting points relate to the allegations concerning outrider and 'information'. If you have read the documents you will know that it says that Outrider backers knew and agreed on a particular strategy. Aubree is not reassured and Minden is having the day off.
