...it’s all coming together! PEA potentially within the next 3 weeks, private investment bank visited Cascabel recently and will release their views soon coincides nicely with the PEA. So the board have a rough idea how this can be mined and looks more and more likely that it will be profitable or why bother approaching a private bank for finance! So the conversation probably went something like this, Solg “this is our proposed mine and it’s going to cost £xB, what’s the interest rate on that?” Bankers x%” Solg “thanks we’ll plug the numbers into the PEA and be in touch”. If the SP is at or around this price year end I’d be stunned after potentially 2 MRE updates, PEA completed, pre-feasibility completed, high grade core discovered at Aggy and Alpala continuing to grow! 95p by year end might be so unrealistic after all!

Thank you Pad. H1/2018!! So this month with any luck!? I’m very excited about this! Although with saying that I was excited at the MRE before it was released and with Aggy drilling commencing and so far neither has given the SP a kick up the bootie! Eventually the market will wake up and give us a fair value considerably higher than where we are now!

Worth a read. If we’re due to get the Pre-Feasibility study by year end could be a very exciting time! It’s what the market wants to see! http://www.mining.com/web/much-will-cost/ Newcrest board member is convinced “that’s a mine” after MRE so with the next updated estimate hopefully being considerably higher confirming this all on track for end of the year. We might get another updated MRE around the same time (December) coinciding with the feasibility study. Daily fluctuations don’t mean jack looking at the bigger picture, we all just need to hold firm!

Sorry should have looked before I posted, completion was also mentioned on the last Cascabel update back in April. Still though we might get some news on that soon. That’s what the market is waiting for now, is the project feasible!

I’ll need to check past news releases but what excites me about today’s news is “The Company is currently planning further metallurgical testing and completion of an independent Preliminary Economic Assessment and Pre-Feasibility Studies at Cascabel”. Completion!? Is this the first time they have confirmed the studies are already underway!! Does anyone have any idea how long a pre-feasibility study takes to complete? End of year was the target for the studies so looks like everything is on track and going to plan!

Have been very small for good few weeks now with price only drifting downward. I’m taking comfort in the fact that this is bored PI’s and not major shareholders selling up in fact quite the opposite with II’s slowly but surely coming out of the woodwork. Not long now for major update which fingers crossed is going to be positive and start a new chapter for SolGold. Taking NM’s analogy further I reckon we’re on chapter 4 of a 10 chapter book!

...whenever that may be but it will be happening at some point so please don’t take this post as being a de-ramp! Might be Q4 this year, early next if NM wants to be “cashed up” or it could be end of 2019 as has been hinted at during recent presentations but I think that’s unlikely and risky! Regardless it will hopefully be after the updated resource estimate and with any luck after the PEA has been completed. If both of these milestones are positive (which is likely) we will hopefully see an increase in SP. if after the above events we are hovering around 50p a share giving a market cap of around £850m wouldn’t it be a wise move to sell 10% of the company to Newcrest raising £85m and minimise dilution!!?

Given there’s around 60,000m of new core to be added to the next resource update what’s everyone’s thoughts on what the market will regard as being positive? Is it realistic to think the high grade section could come in around 200million mark keeping the 1.8 grade or is that a bit ambitious? If anyone can number crunch roughly what that would equate to in ground value I’d be very graceful!

DG1, I’m very confused with Aggy. Interviews going back over the past two years has stated that Aguinaga is a prime spot for mineralisation as every single data set they have for it points to it being potentially very big indeed! The proposed underground development hits Aggy first before moving on to Moran, Trevino and Alpala. So from a development point of view they must be considering Aggy could potentially recoup the mine development costs before even getting to Alpala (maybe!). I’m starting to think that Aguinaga is being put on the back burner not because they think it doesn’t contain mineralisation or is as big as they thought it would be but I’m convinced it’s part of the bigger poker game currently being played and has something to do with the whole Cornerstone Cascabel spin off! This was supposed to be completed in February and now June so this month things could change and hopefully have that put to bed! Just throwing thoughts out there might be talking nonsense!

Something we should consider is there’s lots of deviated holes being drilled currently too so in mineralisation much quicker. We also need to bear in mind a 1800m hole with man portable rig still takes around 2 months to complete then another month for assays so 3 months in total, it takes time! MRE update I think will be stonking and will hopefully prove Alpala as being a viable stand-alone project with any luck. Enjoy your long weekend everyone and be nice to one another!

FWIW maybe the strategy is to get to bankable feasibility with the current cash in the bank (which has been hinted at should last until end 2019 which coincides with bankable study being complete) then sell off Cascabel to the highest bidder. What’s a little worrying is NM saying he likes to be cashed up. Now if we’ve got a proven profitable mine from the studies there’s nothing stopping NM approaching the deep pocketed II’s and banks who will be willing to lend to build a mine so who knows we might not get any more dilution but have debt as the mine is being built. I’ve read a report that the mine could be up and running by 2021 all going to plan. I’ll try find the report stating this but definately read it somewhere. With saying that we’ll probably get a fund raising RNS next week!! Hopefully not!

Sean, think you’re from my home land up north!? Surely you agree that the only way an exploration company can continue to exist is by issuing shares until what they “think” they have has been proven up? Dilution for dilution sakes to pay directors salaries etc is unfair but most of the shares issued in the last find raising has been spent on exploration. An offer will come for Ensa I’m almost certain of that, how much for is what we’re all waiting for! I’m pretty sure you’ll get a good return on your 54,000 shares but hey wtfdik

This board is infested! One day (who knows when but within the next 12 months is my guess!) we will wake up to an offer for Ensa and with any luck the cockroaches will be gone for good!

Each to their own, everyone is entitled to their own opinions whether good bad or indifferent but there appears to be a a ramping up of bad mouthing going on regarding SolGold and their management etc etc! Can only mean one thing I suppose!? We’re on the cusp of something special here and I think by the end of summer and certainly by the end of the year Ensa is going to belong to someone other than SolGold. Who is anybodies guess but 12 suitors looking for a piece of the action all will be revealed soon enough.

I’d rather they kept in drilling and proved up more of Alpala and Cascabel as a whole, complete to bankable feasibility then sell Ensa to get as much as possible. Catch 22 is more funds would probably be needed to get to this stage. Although it has been confirmed that funds are in place to end of 2019 which coincides with the bankable feasibility being complete! Bit risky to sell a project even as advanced as that and to have no cash in the bank though and try to sell a project!

It took until hole 5 for the discovery hole at Alpala. I’d be very surprised if they got the best hole with the first drill at Aggie! With regard to timescales from snippets of news from various sources it’s looking like PEA by year end 2018, bankable study by end of 2019, two years to build the mine then production by year end 2021. Don’t think it will be SolGold producing by then but I’d expect a buy out for at least Ensa middle of 2019 at the very latest. Then onto the other tenements, rinse and repeat!
