As FYJNY suggested last night I think he is spot on with his thoughts regarding the MRE and PEA. Considering the latest update here’s 20,000m if assays outstanding. It it takes 4 weeks to get these back then say another 2 weeks for the assays to be incorporated into the MRE this will be around mid August which should be plenty of time for the PEA to be completed. Release both at the same time for ultimate impact!!

Agreed Earthling. What’s starting to worry me a little is I’m not convinced an updated MRE is going to shift the SP. The market knows it’s getting bigger and richer as each drill turns but what the market wants to see is how financially viable is the Alpala region. We might get a 10-20% increase in SP on the update (no idea really, good news sends SolGold down all the time) but with the cash burn I think we’ll only get a serious rerate when we get an initial PEA which with luck will show the project as being feasible! I could be wrong and don’t mean to deramp but just a hunch. Not too long to find out with any luck.

6% spread!!? It’s been like this for weeks now. More often than not massive spread discouraging buying! Same thing has happened in the past then suddenly an II suddenly pops up with 25m shares, pretty obvious similar thing is unfolding now!

It appears the market is determined to bring this down! Considering there’s around 500m shares in free float with minimal trading in the last few weeks the price is still dropping regardless. The SP performance would suggest there’s a massive sell off with SolGold which is further from the truth in fact the opposite with the register being institutionalised and some big wigs coming on board. Games are a foot and as always we will be the last to know what’s going on behind closed doors! Just wished my £20k top up was at today’s prices and not at 26p but convinced by year end the sp will be considerably higher than where we are now but hey wtfdik!!

It’s all been very strange the spin off DG1! Sooner it’s completed the better. June was mentioned for it to complete (but it was also supposed to have happened back in February so who knows!) but it could be insiders selling out of Cornerstone to buy back into the spin off company. What I don’t understand though is the new spin off a completely new company that is going to float on the market with a new ticker or not!?

If the new spin off company is completed new with new ticker and company name not owned by Cornerstone then the old Cornerstone will lose value as the assets and value assigned to Cascabel will no longer be on Cornerstones balance sheet!! Could explain the drop in sp!?

Qalibashi, I agree SolGold has huge potential and will be considerably more valuable when Alpala is proven up and feasibility studies completed. However I think (might be wrong though) NM refers to SolGold being 15 x more valuable due to the other tenements they have in Ecuador. When we consider how long it has taken to prove up Cascabel (and we’re still nowhere near that yet) it’s going to take a long long time before value can be extracted from the other tenements! I reckon Ensa will be bought for around £1+ and got a funny feeling it’s going to Lundin who buys it later this year!!

Thanks Pad. It’s a bit vague though isn’t it!? We could have a Pre-Feasibility completed by end of the year, only 6 months away! Can imagine the Cornerstone board are beginning to sweat a bit!

Pad, do you know if it’s the bankable feasibility or is it any feasibility that triggers the Cornerstone payments?

Sorry was just being lazy and looked it up myself 90m or so shares! If Ensa gets bought out (not SolGold) for say £1.7b (maybe a bit ambitious but you never know!) NM would pocket £90m and still hold his shares in SolGold! Rinse and repeat, next 10 years he could be a billionaire!!

How many shares does NM hold? 4%?

Trade before was for 23.63p!!!

Are you 100% sure it was a sell? After hours trade so who knows when it was filled!

Sorry Ludeck, if you look at notes to editors in RNS’ completion of PEA is stated so it’s already been worked on.

Ludeck, that’s not what the Bank of Canada (I think!) said yesterday! Sure there’s a tweet from Solg saying PEA completed H1/2018 with PFS by year end 2018!
