I understand your concerns about dilution Sean and kind of agreed with you. Before BHP sneaky purchase full conditional funding was being investigated so let’s see what materialises from that and with any luck dilution will be minimal if any!

But with Newcrest and BHP holding 21%, NM holding around 5% and DGR holding around 10%(?) blackrock 6% that’s about even with biggest holders. Whoever buys Cornerstone share could have the upper hand in all this!! Solg need to buy Cornerstone to keep control and unfortunately they don’t have the funds to do this unless the complete conditional funding package being investigated allows us to buy Cornerstone! Very complicated!

Earthling, I’ve no idea really but numbers have been crunched for Alpala alone. If the next MRE update is “eye popping” as has been suggested then I think £1 a share for Alpala alone NOT Cascabel would be realistic. Other areas in Cascabel haven’t been proven up so let’s say another 30p for them? £1.30p for Cascabel with Solg getting 85% of that and I’d be delighted. Special divi at 50p a share then use funds to go elephant hunting at other tenements which might be more economic than Cascabel. With money in the bank there would never need to be another fund raise to prove up the other assets! Very very exciting times!

That’s not true MikeBrady, Jason Ward said Cascabel has fantastic potential but believes there’s even better tenements than Cascabel! He most certainly did not say he was not a big fan of Cascabel!!

MikeBrady, no one (we’ll not us little PI’s) saw this coming. NM has hinted at a another funding option being investigated that doesn’t sound like there’s going to be much if any dilution at all. Who knows what NM has up his sleeve!

I can see BHP making an offer for the Cornerstone spin off company now! That would give them another 10% of SolGold so 16.1% holding, greater holding than Newcrest. Things are starting to heat up now for sure.
