Thanks for that Schlemiel, very comprehensive report! Still plowing through it but what’s jumped out so far is 74% shares firmly held!! Take into consideration PI’s holdings (there’s a few on here who have a few million each) and add all the others with less than a million and wouldn’t be surprised if the free float is only around 20%.

Fair enough and I do have an opinion but normally I keep it to myself or state as such when posting. I’m more than comfortable with my holding in SolGold and convinced this is a solid investment.

In your opinion you should add. You and I have no idea what financial position employees of SolGold are in but they have had the options for two years so they knew the expiry date of those options so you never know maybe they were saving up to buy their allocated amount to hold onto what looks like a solid long term investment.

Bit presumptuous that comment Strider! Or to put a positive (and more likely) spin on it what if those people that exercised their options sit tight with them for another 12-18 months when they could be worth four to five times more than they paid for them!!?

Now all the option shenanigans are out of the way trading volume has certainly dropped. Looks like all share holders are waiting for the MRE update.

I was confused too! I think (but don’t really know) but maybe they sold some stock that would have been in profit to then exercise their options?

Is there anyway to find out exactly who is entitled to the options at 28p and how many each person/contractor can exercise?

Cash in bank £30m, £45m BHP placing and if all options are taken up another £10m so £85m to play with! Should see us through 2019 and potentially to bankable feasibility depending on what’s the plan for next round of drilling?

Thanks for that Pinot. So around 58% held by big holders, add the other holdings around 1-2% wouldn’t be surprised if there’s only around 30% free float which is still a hefty chunk 540m shares.

I’d agree dreamboatwarrior. I think we’ll be around 50p come mid November. I don’t think MRE2 is priced in to the current SP and keep thinking about the article I read (and can’t find!!) someone stating that the new MRE would be mind boggling!

Interesting theory goldenveg. I think the next round of options are for staff and contractors (might be wrong!) but if that’s the case I’d imagine they won’t have the same available capital to exercise the options the same way Maxit did with the options last week. If it were me I’d need to sell off some shares at a profit to then buy the options at the strike price. Could explain the selling rather than buying below BHP’s 45p placement. Need to get the options out of the way then hopefully onwards and upwards!
