I agree Strider. Just trying to get my head around the reason for the retrace. Games being played or the market is punishing NM for insisting he’s taking this to production (even though he’s already said if it was the right price he would sell!!).

Who knows but I can’t see what news will be released before MRE2 to give us a 30% hike in SP!

...being shorted or is the SP and market cap aligning with the MRE2 expectations of doubling in size? Were we overvalued and was the high SP based on take over speculation and those investors that think this won’t be happening anytime soon jumping out? Last two days trading there’s not exactly been a massive sell off so can’t quite get my head around why we’ve lost more than 20% of value from BHP buying in at 45p and loads of good news since then and more to come. Just doesn’t make sense!

Hmm! Bit of a catch 22 this because if it wasn’t for NM we wouldn’t be investing here imagining what we’re all going to do with our new found wealth in the next year or so!!

So BHP were willing to pay 45p for a lot of shares then topped up at 38.5p. Today we’ve only had just over 1.4m sells (and around 700k buys) and we drop over 5%!! Considering there’s 1.8B shares in issue there’s been not even 1% of the company sold today but that warrants knocking off £35m in market cap! Nonsense!!!!!

Think I’d agree with you on this one Schemiel, orchestrated attack on SolGold. Funny how Brent Cook recommends short Solg and then a few days later this happens!!

...similar to guess the SP come March 2019 what’s everyone’s expectations for the SP come November 2020 (if we haven’t been taken out by then!) I’ll start the ball rolling. On completion of the bankable feasibility around that time and other tenements showing more potential than Cascabel with a MRE or two for the other tenements I’m holding out for £2.50 after dilution!

What’s the name of the Newcrest director on the board who’s a block cave mining expert giving technical advice to SolGold!? There’s your expert right there! I know it takes more than one person to design and build a mine but from concept to fruition you need a plan and we’ve got an expert as part of the team right there! If NM really really wants to take this to production there’s nothing stopping him!

Someone on here emailed Anna Legge asking about the timing of the MRE2 and seemingly she agreed with the poster that it made sense to release the update prior to the Xmas break so have maximum impact. Personally I think that’s why they’ve cut off at the end of October so it can be released early December rather than late! Pure speculation on my part but kind of makes sense. Either way not long to go now. Grades today were amazing!!

Am I reading this right. MRE2 is up to and including hole 67. They have all the assay results back up to hole 67 (and beyond with 16,000m outstanding) so the MRE2 could be out very early December!?

Strider4, interesting that Jason Ward had samples of core 64 with him when he presented last month for people to look at. Usually it was holes 5 and 12 they used previously I think to show stonking grades. What I find a bit strange is Jason had core samples with him from hole 64. The best parts were from fairly deep so they must have had the cores returned from the assay lab so surely they had the assay results from that hole way back in October if he had them as samples for peeps to look at!?

As somebody mentioned BC has sour grapes. He missed the 1.5p to 45p move in SolGold over the last two years.

I think Brent Cook will change his opinion when MRE2 is released. He used MRE1 as an example of how block cave mining works in a presentation earlier this year and he wasn’t convinced it was minable due to a lack of high grade core. Hopefully as has be alluded to by Nick Mather the next resource estimate should put those doubts to bed!

Sorry one more non related post! Thanks Zoros, nice car but it’s the shape of the older R32 that really gets me as well as the performance. There’s loads more performance cars better than the R32 but it’s a future classic.

Sorry to highjack the board so last non related SolGold post! RS5 if SolGold comes good it’s either a B7 RS4 or a 2004 Golf R32! Currently driving a Land Rover Defender but live in Africa with intentions of moving back to UK next year. If you think the roads are bad in the UK you should see what they’re like over here!!

RS5, would you recommend the RS4? B7 or newer model? I’ve always wanted a B7 RS4 but worried about coking issue and fuel costs!!
