RE: Why does the price keep dropping despite partnerships?31 Aug 2021 16:26
Jimmy: starting bottom up on that post. The market was overdue a wake-up here. There's plenty of shares that have far too high MCAPs for the stage they're at or what they have so far (some Helium anyone?) and will need to deliver to see future big rises. It doesn't however mean they can't or won't deliver and see those big rises.
With regards where the revenue comes from, I'm sure "the platform should be 90% of the focus of where revenue needs to come from" is the case, however focus doesn't mean it'll happen overnight. I think the fall in SP following the numbers in January were less to do with margin and more to do with an inevitable raising. Everyone would simply bail until the raising happened. That's what happened imo, and it's no surprise the price has stopped falling once the placing completed, and since then, has been oscillating around the placing price, give or take 0.2p up or down, very roughly.
Being at an MCAP of £18m for the state the company is now in, seems like a relatively reasonable state of play, with high potential rewards, but high risk.
Essentially there's not much disagreement, we'd all want to see revenue and/or usage of the platform rising, that's what you, me, or anyone else is going to judge this on (whether we view £3m or £4m as good - I simply think an arbitrary broker target means little - and everything rides on how things go with the platform).
