... a brand new bus this morning.

A shiny blue bus with the very nice registration plate AFF 1 DXTM and a new driver. I asked the new driver his name. He said it was Homer but his friends called him Doh.

The bus company was putting different drivers on routes where people shouting "cheaper fares" were congregating so that the real passengers didn't have to put up with any trouble. I don't think they will be arguing with our new driver.

I'm sat next to very nice chap called drshan and we have been chatting away and seeing who has been getting on.

A chap with a golf club, who sits at the front is quite interesting. He looks a bit like an American golfer himself, so we have nicknamed him AP.

The Bruker twins are on again as are the science chaps. No doubt they will be calling at the chippy later as it is Friday after all.

A few people on the bus have been talking about an update on the bus timetable but our driver, Doh, says that they have been on about this in the office and he thinks they are still working out the driver rotas before sending this out so that there isn't a problem with the big union chief in London.

Sitting back now to enjoy the trip.

As we turned into Bams Street, I realised where we were. At the stop there, the Bruker twins, Maldi and Toff, got on and at the stop by the now famous chip shop, some well dressed people got on. As they sat near me, I heard one of them say he was starting a new job doing fimmer production, so I made a mental note to look up what a fimmer was when I got home later.

All of a sudden there was a large crowd shouting at the bus. Some even licked the windows. I couldn't quite catch what they were saying but it sounded like cheaper fares, so I think they wanted to pay less for their journey.
