Given that we haven't had the Trading Update after yesterday's 100% specifity announcement, could that mean more news will be announced before we do?

I can't think of any other reason unless somebody knows differently.

If you are selling today, all the very best.

For myself and others, for whom hold and buy is the approach, then here's why in my opinion:

We know that the specifity of our test is the best that it can be.
We know that there is a route to market within weeks.
We know that the same affimers are used in BAMS, which is now with Bruker.
We know we have AVA6000 awaiting approval for clinical trials.
We know we have a Trading Update due that will show, without the above, increased revenues and cash in the bank.

We don't know about:

The therapy with Daewong/Affyxell
Progress with sewage systems
The amount of upfront payment from LG Chem
Manufacturing in Asia

Not a lot not to like but as stated, just my opinion.

Longer answer is that the hardest hurdle is now cleared and the manufacturing hurdle doesn't exist as this is already in place with three manufacturers already.

Also agree, Timster but think that the delayed trading update is relevant.

It isn't difficult to plug known numbers into a spreadsheet and provide comparisons. For example, I would be expecting @45% increase on revenues above last year's and a substantial increase in cash in the bank.

If that is all there is to report then it could have been done already but hasn't.

We already know that the CTA for AVA6000 will feature in the update and would need new announcements for other items to be included, which is what makes the next two weeks a very interesting time for us all.

Completely agree, PL,

Whilst leaving the lockdown will be based on vaccine jabs being rolled out, it does leave a couple of questions going forward.

The first is around transmission, even with the vaccines and the second is around spotting variants quickly so that vaccines can be amended. I can't see a better way than testing to answer these two questions.

The third question is around treatment of the disease given that even with vaccines and testing people still catch this disease. A therapy sounds a plausible way for this aspect.

That aside, if you think that the supplier shares were at 10p, then it is going to be a while before we get to reasons to raise cash to supercharge the business to take AVA6000 forward and increase affimer production and why Rouane would be part of such a raise.
